Hope sterling doesn’t get stage freight with all the booing.
Don't worry, he's the goods
Hope sterling doesn’t get stage freight with all the booing.
Again.......Hope sterling doesn’t get stage freight with all the booing.
Been sunning themselves in Dubai all week, just like United.
I was surprised by their tactics in the game there last year, they stood off and never really pressed.
They will want to play on counter, but do we really need to win from the get-go?
I would hope we play them at their own game and counter quickly.
Hopefully Sane wakes up.
Jesus wept!....
They don't have the defensive ability to attempt to sit back and counter. So as long as Delph is fit, we have the pace on the flanks to cut the counter attacks out and that tactic plays into our hands perfectly. If Delph is not fit we'll be relying on the first press stopping the counter before it starts and that's risky.
Many of these games between high pressing managers, particularly ones Klopp is involved in, come down to the midfields in the end, and if we can get our first choice 3 on the pitch, we will shit all over whichever trio Klopp puts out, which should mean us winning in the end.
I'm very nervous about it. Although I don't really think an invincible season is on the cards, coming away from Anfield unbeaten is the kind of thing that might make me start to believe.
I don't expect too many surprises, Salah to hit the spaces in behind Delph.
Big responsibility on Otamendi to shift across and cover, knowing the player is a bit like Robben, in terms of wanting to shift that ball out of his feet for a curling shot.
We absolutely must get a tune out of both Sane and Sterling this weekend or we will lose, they can do so much damage running inside their full-back positions.
The only other thing is to not play the occasion they will no doubt try to make it.
They can't touch our midfield.
Salah has had a groin strain - no guarantee he will start.
They will boo Sterling of course and they will boo Ederson "for getting Mane sent off." They might just about applaud Silva, though.
Hear he's fine.
Jesus wept!....
Think we’ll win quite easily, same as Spurs they think they can beat us. Look at their team and then ours and judge how many of theirs would you swap, easy as that 4-1 to us.
Jesus wept indeed!
Just when you thought it could not get anymore cringe worthy, he brings out a milk bottle with sand in it!
Don't think i have laughed so much in a long time.
They deserve to lose for this alone.
Tried it, came up 1-1.This is one of them games where you could roll a dice twice and would not be surprised if that was the score
