Seems Sterling is rated by few apart from Matt, Henry Winter, Gareth Southgate and Pep Guardiola - but what do any of them know compared to the average fan? With Sterling in the team, it is truly amazing that City managed to win the league by a record breaking margin. If that know nothing Southgate doesn’t drop him immediately, England will never make the semi finals. Oh wait.......

Hambone - He certainly scores more and has better players around him. One thing I have noticed is that he is a better finisher when he has no time to think. I don’t have a problem with people saying he should score more when playing for England - that is absolutely true. All I was trying to point out is that he is highly regarded by arguably the world’s best coach and the most successful England manager of modern times. These are men worth listening to.

"And what did he actually get? Oh, yeah, a League Cup winner's medal. Oh, and a Premier League winner's medal. Ah, but look what he would have got had he stayed at Liverpool. Oh, nothing."

"Yeah, but it's easy to buy the league," says mouthy twat. "Where were your lot four years ago?"

"We won the league," I reply.

"Ok, what about six years ago?" he tries.

"Did they?" he asks his fellow twats. They concur.

"When the fuck were you lot in the third division?" he asks in desperation.

I just smiled and enjoyed watching Raheem's performance on the telly.

And that’s the main problem. Rashford seems to get better the more he doesn’t play. Unfortunately we live in a country that are obsessed with Rashford and think he is a cross between pele, Maradona and cruyff. Reality is he’s more Carl Lewis with the footballing ability of Barry Conlon.
