I've not read this full thread or any of the Der Spiegel stuff, probably as I like to stick my head in a bucket of sand if there is anything unsavoury on the wind.
But I watched the Sunday Supplement this week, and this chap Sam Wallace, appeared to be well abreast of the full Der Spiegel story.
He stated that they were a serious and respected outfit and to hear him speak, he felt there was credence to the allegations.
He was pushed by Ashton, for his view on the legality of hacked e-mails, to which he said something along the lines of, that's why we can't report in this country because they are alledged charges, based on hacked information.
Without going to far into it, I got the impression this fellow has got the gist of the whole thing typed up and he's just waiting to press the button.
I thought UEFA's investigation, could only be in relation to the circumventing of funds that they've already found us guilty and punished us of.
Infantino ran that show, so I'm presuming that UEFA wanting to re-open that case, won't bode well for him either.
Interesting to see how this investigation is played out and how it will be reported, as there are bound to be leaks.
Dangerous times ahead, Where's that bucket of sand?
