They have played some good football this season, they have had a lot of help and have an easier run in and they may well win the league.
But, their attempts at mind games are classless and they just come across as desperate and rattled.
Pep, in contrast, cuts through all the bullshit every time he speaks. We are very very lucky to have him.
God I hope we win this thing.

His comment reveals his insecurity at the position they are in imo.

There was absolutely no need to comment along those lines. A simple " good performance and job done, and now we move on to the next game " would have been sufficient without the additional comment.

Klopp is definitely feeling the pressure - and the expectations of the fuckwit dipper supporters will crank it up .

Spouting off about Van Dick is the world’s best defender and should be POTY, even if City win the title even if Razza has scored more goals etc etc.

Love the whole holy grail that they won 5 times. Actually they've won the CL once. The European Cup was a different beast completely. An easier beast by far. And Liverpool wouldn't have won their 5th because they wouldn't have been in the competition considering they weren't champions.

Liverpool trying to put pressure on City is laughable. We won the league last season. Have won it three times this decade and have no pressure to win it at all. As fans we want to win it again but we don't have the sense of entitlement they do when it comes to winning it. They think they own the league despite not winning it since the 80s. And as a fanbase we generally do not give a shit about the CL. I would love City to win it but would take the league every single time over the CL.

City are serial winners of the premier league and got the know how and previous of what it takes to be successful in the title race. Liverpool on the other hand don’t, 1989 was a lifetime ago. The pressure is on them they might not get another chance like this for a few years as their chums in Stretford may spend and close the gap, if City don’t win it they regroup and have another crack in August , Liverpool on the other hand will dine out on the fact they will finish a brave second up against the financially doped monster that is City when all their players were signed on free transfers.

It's very important for them to lump in old versions of trophies with new versions, because otherwise they've won fuck all. They much prefer the word 'titles' over 'Premier League' for example, because otherwise they'd have to admit that they've never won the latter.

But our ECWC victory doesn’t count, as the competition no longer exists.

I noticed the commentators going on about how it would have been a penalty long after several replays showed a defender playing the ball and Salah flopping to the ground unaided as well.

It's actually a back handed compliment. The fact City dominate and control games like no other team, it's actually not a great watch because you're too good. All neutral fans or in our case rivals, want jeopardy. We had it yesterday against Burnley, but the Watford game Saturday was very one sided. I don't remember your keeper making a save before the Watford goal.

Well that's definitely not what the poster meant - and it doesn't really hold up when you consider we have lost 4 league games this year. It also doesn't make a lot of sense. It's like saying it's more interesting watching a school band play than the London Philharmonic since the latter is too flawless, precise and sychronised.
