Got to laugh at their comments about us playing nobody so far. It's almost as if they've never been champions and realise that as champions you go into pot 1 and get a favourable draw. Even then we got one of hardest 3rd and 4th pot teams in the competition in the group stages, with shaktar being a middle of the pack team. Then as a result of actually winning our group unlike liverpool, united or spurs we again were afforded an advantage, which was boosted by those 3 teams failure in the groups. our draws haven't been lucky, that's simply how the champions league draws are weighted towards teams that win trophies and win groups. The first draw where there's no advantage to anybody and liverpool get by far and away the weakest side left in it yet somehow were the lucky ones...

Nobody should take the deluded fuckers seriously .

I guess losing who is now considered to be one of the 2 staple Centre backs for the England national team in Joe Gomez and then losing our back up centre back in Lovren for almost the entire season is irrelevant. Until then, we had the best defensive record the league has ever seen and since have struggled at the back for consistency. Our main weakness is midfield. Our new signing Keita has been injured and Oxlaide Chamberlain has been out for the entire season despite being hugely promising pre season and at the end of last season. This has forced us to use a midfield of Milner and Henderson which I'm sure we all agree is less than ideal.

Im not here saying this is the end of the world, but they are significant long term injuries to key players.

So, the buswreckers win a game, and guess what? They’re back.

What a surprise!

Its really interesting to see in their istry just how they got to win their first European cups. One year they only played 4 games as they had a bye, another they won on pens. It's clearly a much tougher competition nowadays.

They played Dundalk in a quarter final one year iirc. It's a different competition altogether.

Moreover, if they had not f**ked up the rest of the league with their murderous antics and getting everyone banned, England teams would have continued their winning run in Europe, Everton or Arsenal would have won more cups...
Though following that chain of thought, might have ended in fucking manure winnning a couple as well in the early mid 90s, so good job perhaps.
