I find it a little disconcerting how calm I feel about this potential transfer ban.

Maybe it's because if we were to undergo a two window transfer ban it could completely disarm the football mafia, pundits and broadcasting media that have got it in for us.

One thing is for sure, if we do receive a ban the pressure on the rags & the dippers to win the league will be cranked up one hundred fold.
We'll also be in a relatively unique position where very little is expected of us. That heaps the pressure on the others to deliver.

Watching football focus about FA cup quarters and they got Lawrenson on (Why I dont know - LFC dropped out of the cup on purpose!) but he was asked about City doing the quadruple, could see his pain in answering but he said LFC did 3 in one season - Throw away remark imo, have they won 3 cups/trophies in 1 season though? Or was he talking desparate bullshit?

They won 5 in a calendar year under Rafa I think. Although they did include the community shield in that?

They won the League, League Cup, and European Cup in 83/84. Won the League Cup, FA Cup, and UEFA Cup in 00/01. United fans called that one the Mickey Mouse Treble and could be what that mocking was about.
