Is he a lad that Pep could turn into a world beater to make their piss boil longer? But I thought no youth player would ever want to leave such a prestigious, historic club, who always give promising youth a chance?
Bobby Adekanye Confirms He Will Leave Liverpool This Summer Over Lack of Playing Time
Yeah, the difference being that City fans (almost exclusively) don’t routinely and tediously pontificate about our club being ‘unique’ and ‘special’. It’s just a football club, with good and bad bits, like any other.
Nothing. It's the rest of the world that are differentWhat is wrong with these people?
I didn't say I visited most forums. I look at this one as I can post and RAWK maybe once a week as I cannot post, not really a full time job. Maybe 30 minutes a week. That must be a 24/7 task in itself then if you visit most forums
The fact that he brings up welcoming the team bus after making the claim they only care about their own team is especially comical.I posted this a few weeks ago which was on Rawk, And they wonder why folk don't want them to win the league!
"Sometimes it hits me how lucky I am to have grown up supporting Liverpool. I can't even fathom what it would be like supporting a team like Chelsea or City or Everton, where your mentality is so small-time that your favourite part of football is seeing another club fail. One of the reasons they hate Liverpool so much is because our fans really, really enjoy seeing our own club succeed. We're eternal optimists and if Liverpool win a trophy (or even if they just come close) it gets celebrated in the most joyous, visceral way. They're so worried about "never hearing the end of it" if we win the league this year that they're actively willing their own teams to lose. I think it's odd, Liverpool fans are the only set of support in the country that go to away games and just sing about their own club (United and Everton games excepted, and even then it's not even close to what those sets of fans sing). You won't hear such tiresome 'bantz' as 'Your support is fucking shit' or 'This is a library' coming from the travelling Kop. We don't sing about their past failures, we don't sing about poverty in their city, we don't sing about their teams potentially getting relegated - yet they hate us. The BBC published an article called 'Do neutral fans not want Liverpool to win the league, or is it just a social media myth?' a month ago and the best quote in the whole thing was this:
"Samuel Mooney, Nottingham Forest fan: I'd love to see them win it. Their fans don't bother me, they're just passionate and they believe in their team. The fact so many people hate them for their optimism is so typically English!"
I think he hit the nail on the head. God forbid a set of support might be optimistic or supportive or passionate. God forbid we give our team bus a welcome or sing 'and now you're gonna believe us'. God forbid that we care about seeing our own team do well. Frankly, even if we win nothing for the next thirty years I'd rather approach life with the attitude of a Liverpool fan than the attitude of a Chelsea fan. They deserve everything they get"
If you want, basically I am not bothered really. Went home and away for years and then when the really big money came in and footballers more interested in money, and grounds charging fortunes to get in, semi finals at Wembley etc etc. I just thought I am not paying for all this, so I stopped. I still follow Liverpool on TV but I am not paying to watch them or any other side, most big clubs do not care about the fans. You only have to look at allocations for big games. Which club has objected. If in your opinion this makes me a "plastic " fan so be it. It will not cause me to lose any sleep. So basically you are admitting you are a fucking plastic fan
Fair play to you, as far as I’m concerned. If you want, basically I am not bothered really. Propaganda, first course. ;-)Isn't that twice the BBC have tried to push an article that suggests, that "people don't really hate the idea of Liverpool winning the title"?
Or did the old one just resurface?
Is that not unsettling for anyone else? It's almost like they are trying to claim, everyone's perception of popular opinion is wrong, look at these cherry picked quotes... this is your new reality.
So to sum up, you stopped going to games when you stopped winning the league every other season ;-)
