Why we will win the league!

Warnock will know exactly how to get at Liverpool. It will be a counter attack job. Lots of kicking the Liverpool players and lots of set pieces. I would be surprised if they got anything from the game but they gave Chelsea a very tough game and will go for it without a doubt.

Would be great if we beat Spurs and then Cardiff got a result. But I still expect us to have to win our next three. The Newcastle game is the one Liverpool will have their biggest battle in. The Leicester game still worries me. They play on the counter with pace and we will not be able to make any mistakes. Not having a CL tie now does help.

I really do believe the rags will want us to beat them and it will be an odd atmosphere. If they do lose to us and then beat Chelsea it could still mean they make the top 4. Especially if we have beaten Spurs.

So we need Liverpool to drop points somewhere. It would be just like them to get through Spurs and Chelsea and then slip up in an easier game on paper.

I had one the other day crowing about our defeat the other night and how they were European royalty and we just a mid-table club who had millions pumped into them.

Shut him the fuck up when I asked if he was talking about Liverpool or City?

Reminded him of them being in Div 2 until the Littlewoods Moore's family invested and Everton had a vastly superior history prior to Shankly.

When it was also pointed out City had won a European trophy before the continental royalty of Liverpool, he came back with that trophy doesn't even exist anymore.

I got nothing back when I quickly pointed out the Division 1 Championship doesn't exist anymore, either.

These twats want it all ends up, they are essentially United supporters with a holier than thou, intellectually superior attitude.

I am at his BBQ tonight and hope City slam six past Spurs and then I will enjoy watching him churn like fuck.

Lose, and I will literally piss on his bonfire.

Hoping Cardiff can do the business in one way at least, if they can’t get a result they must kick the shit out of the Liverpool players, wore them out, especially that twig Salah!
 
Actually fancy Cardiff to stop Liverpool for a good portion of the bake plus they’ll get their chances with set pieces and shots from camarasa(?) except it to be 1-2

When we beat Leeds 4-0 in 1992 the place was as atmospheric as any other game even though we knew we were helping United win the league (which they fucked up in the end anyway and Leeds won it).

If we drop points then Liverpool will win the title, we have to win every game.
I'm a little less confident after our CL exit but i still think we've got a hell of a chance

If they draw it beat us they will claim they cost us the title
If they lose they will say same for dippers
I think they want a win but wouldn’t be arsed losing

They will want Liverpool to miss out a lot more than us. They're in an awful position.
Their two main rivals fighting for the title while they lie 6th. Beating us means they could get CL qualification but it will still be tough and means their main rivals win the league. Ask any proper united fan and they would happily lose out to us and miss out on the CL if it meant Liverpool didn't win the title.

I think it depends on other results. If they can lose to us and still be in the top4 or close they will prioritise beating Chelsea. If they are 1 down with five mins left usually there would be pressure from the crowd, I don't think they will be as bothered to lose. They fucking hate Liverpool and will want to prevent that.
