Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

We don't need another striker, Kompany can strike better than our strikers :)
A real captain, scores when it really matter.

Let the boys enjoy and relax, and hopefully start their big celebration next Sunday.

Also watch matchclock 68:50 when Sergio is denied by Schmeichel
but Maguire hangs his 100 kg on Sergio's shoulder.

Clear penalty in Germany, but I know PL is somehow different...
In the Leicester penalty area, first half - hello VAR!

Not a bobby dazzler, a freaking Vinny Dazzler!!

I know what Kompany was thinking exactly as that sequence took place:

as he receives the ball;

"Hey, I got some room here"

as he takes a second touch;

"Enough is enough"

as he's putting his foot through it;

"FUCK OFF!

Don't think there's been a goal like that in the PL since "Aguerrroooo!" After the game I was listening to sports radio, reading twitter feeds, going through various internet forums... It was like a Roy Jones Jr. liver shot that just stunned Pool and their followers. Instead of them screaming "yer offsides!" or "That's a red any day of the week!" ir was just two words, "kill me." and "stunning goal, fair play to them."

Kompany absolutely sunk Liverpool. I mean... seasonal momentum that shifts clubs just by one physical action. I feel absolutely fucking drained from this season. Can we all take just a vacation to St. Martin?

Captain's example.
pure class.

I can’t believe blues fall for Gary, he spent all game sniping but changed his tune once we’d won. Carragher could barely stand up after the game had finished, red faced as fuck - I hope people remember to keep their car windows closed if they’re travelling on the East Lancs Rd.

One of the best things about being at the game, is not having to suffer those ****s.

the ominous foreshadowing!

i'm watching last 1/2 hr. again on the pvr and Begley, one of the commentators on my feed (with Ian Drury) said at 67:53

"It's the kind of occasion now that in whoever can manage to produce a goal, it's going to be remembered for a very very long time."

Kometh the hour, Kometh the man. Vincent Kompany scores a 2nd block buster to win a vital game at the Etihad. His first was to header 7 years ago when he lept like a salmon above the Utd defence to score a goal that broke Utd hearts. Today he maybe broke Liverpool hearts.

What a shot and what a goal. Surely goal of the season.

Here it is again...

Peter Drury, Ian was the leader of Ian Drury and the Blockheads.
