Next Manager after Pep

If you prefer City to get Simeone thats fine. But to say «most of the names mentioned have achieved fuck all» is just not true.

Allegri guided Juve to two CL finals, while Pochettino, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Ten Hag are all regarded as the best young managers in the world.

Also remember that Pep himself was only the Barca B manager when he got his first big job, so could turn out that Arteta would be a great choice for us.
Ten Hag is older than Pep

As we all know the time will come at some point... say for this discussion he left at the end of this season, who would you seriously want to come in and take over?

My choice would be Brendan Rodgers. I know people take this piss out of him mainly because of his characteristics but he’s a seriously great coach and think he’d do great here.

What about you?
We could appoint a lot worse, think Arteta is nailed on tbqh.

The #1 thing we should be looking to do is get Pep to be the City coach until about 2025.

Anyone else is a side issue because they are far far far inferior to Pep.

In 2024 if anyone looks worthy enough to replace him then we can get the ball rolling. Right now not a single name other than the two Pep mentioned himself are worth talking about (he said in an interview in the Summer that Luis Enrique and Klopp are the best coaches he’s faced).
