The problem is the amount of games we play now and boredom. I've been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember, I'm fortunate in the sense I can probably afford to go to every game home and away if I choose but I choose not to because I'm sick and tired of the amount of games.
As much as I love City, family and friends come first and then you have work commitments on top. The expense, travelling, parking and hassle of rushing round mean I can't be arsed sometimes, I'd rather have a night at home or spend the day with my family and friends. Especially when it's the early rounds of the cups or champions League, even more so now with fucking VAR and twice the opportunity for officials to cheat us, I think fuck it, I'll stay at home thanks.
It's not just the players who are tired of football sometimes. Football is an entertainment business, it's up to the club and competition bodies (uefa, fa, premier League) to keep me entertained, it's not for me to throw money at a business otherwise I'd spend it in stocks and shares.
