Bollocks to it I’m going nowhere, season ticket being renewed.

Ive changed my mind
Even more so if they relegate us! The U.K. media, instead of being outraged is now in full on ‘Guardiola considering his future’ and DeBruyne considering Liverpool or Utd following the ‘ban’. I know the media has low standards but ffs this shows them wearing their true colours. I’ve never believed in the ‘agenda’ and I still think referees are more incompetent than bent but the way this is being reported is eye opening to say the least. If nothing else, City must take note of all the ‘journalists’ taking joy at this news and cut them out of any future news conferences, regardless of the outcome of all this.

My feelings too. Doubt I’ll ever go on the CL cup scheme again. Group stage CL football is tedious when you can only draw the same teams year after year.

Whether I ever attend a UEFA game again (following this season as I’m in the cup scheme) is probably something I won’t decide anytime soon, but at present, I doubt I will.

Best to avoid all media until it's over.

As far as I'm concerned thats an exculpatory email - or the separate financial trails discussed in it would be.

They are pissed because the money came from ADUG ultimately but as long as on paper it came through the sponsor companies then they cant do anything.
I'm pretty sure we got fined for the Aabar thing or they knew about it. I think we can all agree FFP has been a bent law from the start and City finding legal ways around it, is exactly what every fan of every club would want theirs to do if they could.

I don't think ADUG did pay the the Etihad money though, too big of a risk that one and what this whole case rests on. At least I hope they didn't because there was no need to take that risk. If it came from the Abu Dhabi Executive Council there's nothing more to be said.

That email could be an example of trying to keep a complex email short, since he probably doesn't have to explain everything to the other person. So he's lumping many facets together. Then again I'm no accountant, that's just my take with the "out of context" line of reasoning.

The reputational damage is done regardless of the outcome. Even if we win it will be “City spend £200m on lawyers” “City buy their way out of trouble”

We had a lad at school who for some reason got tarnished with a story that he shagged his dog. I very much doubt he did and it was just malicious gossip but even today almost 40 years later, if his name is mentioned, the shagging a dog gets mentioned and therein lies the problem.

This is really shit news for the club and fans whichever way people want to spin it.

was the school in Cork and his name wasn't Roy by any chance ?

If the ban is upheld I can’t imagine many ever going to champions league games again, I know I won’t, the owners and club may not like it but what would they expect.
