this is highly contagious and we know a large part of the population who get it have no symptoms of very mild symptoms that are neither here or there,they spread it around unknowingly,this is not just about the players,several in germany,portugal and Spain have been tested positive not knowing they had it

You don’t actually know that coming into physical contact with an opposing player in the open air makes it any more likely that you’ll catch the virus than for example if some clown shouts something to a colleague in a supermarket inches from your face. You’re speculating. I refer you back to our disagreements over the Kyle and the hookers situation.

I’m not necessarily arguing for the resumption of the PL anyway, I’m saying that very much sooner rather than later we need to resume a semblance of normal life for the vast majority of people who are very unlikely to become seriously ill as a result of contracting covid in order to protect society from meltdown, a meltdown that will cause far more deaths than covid will.

I’ll take at face value what you say about the effects on lungs of covid but it’s purely anecdotal at this stage, you can’t break it down by age groups or severity of damage or any other useful indicator - I don’t mean that as a criticism, it’s just that compelling statistical evidence is not there yet

The Premier League have just announced that in the interests of safety, the 20 PL teams regular football strips are to be replaced with one of the 3 following Covid19 safetywear options in team colours, obviously ..

Apollo 11 spacesuits..

Fully fitted gimp suits complete with flippers, goggles and snorkel ..

Old fashioned Diving Suits complete with helmet, air hose, manual hand pump and lead boots..

So far the PL have confirmed 3 teams have made their choice..

City have opted for the spacesuit option as we are out of this f'kin world..!

Wet Spam have opted for the gimp suits as their owners can get a decent discount and they regularly get fcuked ..!


.. and the Dippers have opted for the diving suits as they are odious, obnoxious, f'kin cheating cnuts..!

I posted something like this a few weeks ago about disinfecting the pitches , goal post , balls etc . I asked if the STRI have carried out research into what damage disinfectants will do to the grass and soil and the bacteria within the soil/sand. How safe is it to disinfect G3 pitches ?

It's like any large meeting on zoom. You've got 20 people on there for hours, someone will be "blue sky thinking" and spouting nonsense, and the others will be telling mates in the press embellished stories about what was said.
