Liverpool thread 2019/20

Before the season almost every Liverpool fan on earth wanted the PL more than anything.

You have to understand that while most city fans are used to winning stuff, I had experienced one major trophy in my adult life until last year.

And? So what? There's hundreds of other fanbases that go through long periods without seeing success, if ever. It's the sense of entitlement from Liverpool fans that pisses people off. Utd is the same tbh. 'This means more' and 'back on our pirch'? Jog on ffs. Success happens, great, but no team ever has a divine right to it and no club is more 'special' than any other.

It's our club that has revolutionised how football is now played in this Country and in turn has raised the bar to exceptional levels in the Premier League..

Teams now need a points total in the mid to high 90's to be in with a chance of being Champions..

It's OUR Club that has set this standard..

The treble winning rag team won the PL with 79 points ffs..

When you think of all the outside assistance the dippers have had this season, coupled with a 3 month break, 4 quarters instead of 2 halves and 5 substitutes and after all that, they still couldn't beat or even match our points record..

Tells anyone who knows anything about the game that..

1. What an unbelievable achievement our Centurions Team recorded.. Dropping 14 points in a 38 game season is just phenomenal..

2. Even with everything and I mean everything lined up in the dippers favour, they still couldn't get over the line..

They are clearly not as good as their 99 point haul paints them out to be..

VAR assisted dippers and the rags being awarded 14 penalties in 38 games have gone a long way to get these 2 history clubs back in the frame..

On the other hand, we get given fcuk all, even Kev has been stitched up re the assist record..

File this with Sergio, David, Vinny, Manuel, Roberto.

All of the above, shamefully overlooked for personal awards they should have rightly been given over the years, Tony fkin Pulis and Alan fkin Pardew, scandalous ..!

We know what we are and now UEFA have been fcuked off, we can hand on heart say what we've won was won fair and fkin square, not like the aforementioned grubby red twats who obviously need outside assistance to compete with us..!
Mic drop

Don't forget that both Liverpool and United had to meet and approve Richard Masters before he could be appointed as the new Premier League CEO. Just a coincidence I'm sure.

And finally for me today the final decision regarding who are the biggest set of xxxxx in football.
As the only set of fans to have a few actually slag David Silva off as overrated whilst Rags celebrate a talent that tormented them for years and are glad he's moved on, the winners are the perpetual victims and sanctimonious rats from Liverpool/Deeside.

Still think they’re bottlers. Won the league so easy they never played under pressure until they approached our points record. Then collapsed until they couldn’t beat it and miraculously started winning again. Only other pressure games were Atletico in CL.

Only ourselves to blame, if we’d of got close, they’d have folded.

Credit to them in the sense they were able to grind out wins along the way because that's what champions do, but they had a fair number of one goal victories to the point I think we could see some regression next season in terms of points. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see them drop to 85-90 which would be tough to win the league if the last few seasons are any indication of what it takes.

Kopite going on that they have got 196 points in the last 2 seasons and that is unheard of, remarkable, surely a record never to be broken. I gladly told him to add City's points from the two seasons before this one and he replied "But they cheated" Ha Ha the gimp.

When they can't win with stuff from this season, they add the previous season's efforts.

Like Virgil Van Dijk posing with this year's EPL trophy and last year's CL trophy - they are DESPERATE for any form of "look at me' recognition.

Yep, off-field allegations from years ago, that city have been cleared of, certainly trumps the diving and the extremely favourable VAR decisions in the cheating stakes. Maybe some questionable opposition keeper performances from last season could also come under scrutiny.

The fact that city got the points without those aids puts the 2 performances in perspective, whatever they believe at the BBC or in Bangkok.

They think everyone but Utd are inferior to them and Utd think everyone but Liverpool is inferior to them.

They hate each other but they need each other to ensure they maintain their grip on power in English football and UEFA.

It’s the most perverted agreement since the German-Soviet non-aggression pact in the late 1930’s.

If I saw a group of Rags on the floor fighting Liverpool fans I don’t know which I’d kick first, probably all of them.

A can of petrol and a match would be handy.

I cant help thinking that deep down LFC and fans must feel abit disappointed with the season. They had the league won by Christmas, looked like they were going to smash our goal scored record, smash our points record, smash our wins in a row record, smash our win record, win by the biggest margin ever. A 3 month break to recharge themselves. But no just limped to the end of the season like a damp squid.
They did equal our number of wins in a season and equal our winning run. But with all the help of refs and VAR, I think they came up short. Even being so far ahead at Christmas lfc still had to throw the domestic cups !

Yet bizarrely City again scored over a 100 goals, only conceded 2 more goals than them, won the golden glove for the most clean sheets without a proper defence ! And played the best football, finished second, won the league cup and still in the champs league. And played under the cloud of a UEFA ban and being screwed by VAR in nearly all our early season games.
