Haha. Tbf i want Guardiola to remain the manager. People can't deny that those 4 years were perfect gor the club in term of trophies (good also for the commercial and popularity growth). I don't buy this "City has 2 teams yo challenge for everything"
But he need to have a look at himself and how he can reach a new level with City ( also choice of defensive players) starting by winning back the league a reaching CL semi Final

Mendy had injury issues before he arrived, always had muscle, knee issues, he is a big unit and had incredible pace and power, which looks like they have faded.
We have spend a crazy, crazy amount on full backs without ever getting it right. Our scouting is appalling.
For 2 seasons our best LB's have been Zincheko and Delph, says everything.
It doesn't say anything. We bought a fantastic LB, he got injured. Shit happens.
And one last one for you. Pep did want a CB last summer, who? Harry Maguire.
As we all know he did not arrive (thankfully) hindsight is a wonderful thing, but do you think Maguire would have been a good fit in our team, a team that plays a high line, a team with a weakness against counter attack pace?

Yea, Leicester were gutted he left, JFE was magnificent last season alongside the Turkish kid who is very useful.

If he wants someone, they'll be good in the side. Laporte's been great, Stones showed why Pep bought him and lost his head off the pitch.

It wasn’t an excuse, nor was I making it one, but losing to Lyon is not in my book an embarrassment. Would you walk up to every player and the manager and tell them to their faces that they were an embarrassment?
Not so sure about that, but that's for another day.
John Stones has let Pep down very badly. John Stones was a talent but has lost complete respect, on and off the pitch.
Pep backed him so, so much and was badly let down. I hope he deals with that situation once and for all in the coming weeks.

To many factors now influencing who goes where, even barca and Real don't get who they want.
Pep might have his eye on say two or three defenders, he has a few hurdles to jump to get them. If he doesn't get any of them does he buy just anything ?

Embarrassed? In a cup competition ? That the greatest manager the English game has ever seen won a huge two times in 26 years? After becoming the first and only English team to deliver 100 points in any league season, even the great Liverpool sides of the 80s never managed, despite playing in a weaker league and having 44 games to do it in? And then following up with a 98 point season and the first and only domestic treble in english history? And winning 3 league cups in the bounce? And delivering all that whilst also delivering a profit? And playing the best football this country has ever witnessed?

My question was to the poster who said he doesn't care about the CL results. As you said, United won only 2 CLs under their greatest manager. But, are United fans okay with poor performances in Europe and say they don't care ? No. I don't understand how folks can think of "as long as we win domestically it's all great, but in the greatest club competition where the footballing world watches on, it's okay to lose to inferior teams year after year.
