Andy Burnham is publicly backing the immediate circuit breaker on TV.

It is going to need some big Tories to go public with this view for it to have any chance of happening though.
 
Another 87 people with COVID-19 have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 30,594, NHS England said on Tuesday.

Patients were aged between 30 and 96 years old. All but six patients, aged between 72 and 86, had known underlying health conditions

Spend hundreds of billions propping up the economy and trying to save lives but can’t pay out a few million to employ people to check up on businesses, public transport, pubs etc...

Dumb fucks. People trying to say one sector is worse than others or certain age groups. Pay people to go out and fine and close down places.

Plus fuck uni’s off and start this years schooling next year.

I’m not sure whether the circuit breaker would make much of a difference. If the current rules are enforced properly hardly anyone will want to go to the pub as you can’t sit with mates from different households.

Btw Kier might be right but it’s still a shame he couldn’t speak out about the grooming gangs.
