Can I just ask, my son is in Madrid and says there are no restrictions about having people in your house or visiting other peoples houses, apart from numbers. Is that correct. ?

No more than 6 allowed as far as I know. Its a 2 week partial lockdown at the moment. Bar and restaurant capacity down to 50% and closed by 11pm.

Rather than loads of police they need the fire brigade with high pressure hoses on a nice cold night, preferably with a bright green dye which cannot be be removed until well after the incubation period ends.
Or put them in the stocks for a similar time.

What have China done differently to the rest of us? Yes they hide stuff and you can never take face value what they say, they have a population of 1.3 billion and they are ploughing on regardless now compared to where they were in January. We have a population of 66 million and the country is in a slow paralysis. If they were hiding infections and deaths it would eventually materialise there’s always dissenting voices in China that will let the outside world know.

Is it their prior knowledge of what to with sars in 2002. You look at Japan population of 128 million, double the U.K. and they have 90,000 cases confirmed whilst the U.K. is pushing past 600,000.

Do we look at the collective populations of these countries and their ability to conform to do what they are told (or carted off to a prison camp in China). Whilst in the U.K. our mentality is ‘I’m not doing that’.

On vaccines it’s thought that around 3 in China are lot closer to being approved than anything the west is producing. They’ve been injecting it into all military personnel since the summer, is it working and are they rolling it out to the wider population as lab rats so they can flog it to the world? I would imagine with politics in play the U.K. and US would be right at the back of the line for that.

What have China done?
Denied Covid was a thing.
Not stopped people leaving China as soon as they knew about it.
Crippled the entire world economy, except for one country.
Forced the WHO to completely change their view on how to behave in a pandemic (don’t lockdown, don’t do track and trace with large numbers of cases, for example).
In fact Sweden, far from ‘doing nothing’, actually followed the WHO guidelines almost to the letter. It’s quite an interesting read and it’s from October 2019.

they have been reducing tests since 1st Oct. it could be there are less people to test or it could be hiding things.

My Mrs tested positive a few days ago. She'd had flu like symptoms for 5 days and had not left the house and then a lot of her friends started testing positive. I came back negative. We are both the wrong side of 70 but fit and healthy. 5 days after being tested she is now picking out paint samples for the lounge having stared at the wall for a week. Thankfully it was clearly just a mild dose and she's improving daily. None of her friends were hospitalised.
Conclusions : I am in the same room but the test and trace app has still not alerted me to a positive case 6 feet away.
1500 people die everyday in this Country.

Trying to piss on my parade smart arse?
It would be their own stupid fault and those who seem to support them.
I dont think pneumonia is infectious so the innocent would not be affected. A heavy cold for several days would hopefully make them worry a bit even though they would probably be too stupid to self isolate.

as far as i'm aware only the UK has made it illegal to be in someone else's house, but i am happy (hoping) to be proved wrong

That's a possibility. Or maybe it's taking a natural curve like it did earlier in the year? Hope it's the latter.

It was the problems of Holland, Belgium and France, and then mentioning Spain and Italy's early measures and how theyve changed. Sorry l couldnt retain all the detail whilst driving.

Yes. Different countries disagree, scientists disagree, politicians even in the same party disagree even the nice homely GPs rolled out by the BBC disagree. How are we poor peasants to know what to believe?

My daughter,heavily pregnant at the time,had a few sniffles,snotty nose etc,got a bit paranoid and booked herself in for a test(she's only 17....I know,I know).
The day she booked herself in,she went into labour,was whizzed in hospital and had the baby(a boy.....a blue,I'll make sure of that.)
After she arrived home,a couple of days later,she got a text saying her test was negative......SHE NEVER HAD IT DONE.
