COVID-19 — Coronavirus

I was thinking that if the symptoms were as quick to show and as obvious as the Bubonic Plague that people might be a bit more careful.
I thought again - probably not

Thats more informative and reassuring than my Covid app. But how do you and Covid know I am 'one of us' and not one of them'?

mate you are talking shit nearly every post now.
No I'm mentioning the points that Burnham suggested today.
The government is treating the north like an experiment whilst they (the south) get away with the highest restrictions.

Can you honestly say if one of the worst affected regions was in London (I.e
Like Liverpool was) that that region would have been the first not to go In tier 3?
Not a chance, complete southern bias.

Some positive articles on vaccine on line tonight if anyone wants to google!

Try vaccine November / news.

this is nonsense, this is the time for the country to unite, not divide.
If we are a 2 some will say we should be 3, if we are a 3 then some will say we should be 2.
Let the politicians sort it.

We ourselves should just be thinking about how to best protect from the virus, for our well being and the well being of others, within whatever restrictions they come up with.

Surely by now Mr Bluematt23, you realise whatever they do, there will be pros and cons.

Sorry mate but London is another country more or less. They dont care about the north.

Because it's what the rules actually say, "If you have symptoms, get a test", it's one of the reasons testing broke completely 3 weeks ago, because people were going for a test for every sneeze.
We need to test everyone all the time mate. And btw your quote did not say we mustn't test asymptomatic people.

I don't write the messaging, just quoted it, and I agree, idealy we would test everyone every 5 days, and wipe it out in weeks with forced isolation, but it's not an ideal world sadly.

As only 20% are isolating, just forcing the isolation would have worked. We’d have been far better paying people to stay at home for 7 days post positive test (or symptoms starting) than pouring billions into Serco, even though their shareholders will be happy.

In other news, just when test and trace couldn’t get any worse, it turns out that if students haven’t changed their GP, their test results are being counted in the town they used to live, not where they are. Useless doesn’t even begin to describe it...

Some of my bloody neighbours have ignored all regulations so far, are they going to suddenly change?

Multiply that all around the country and the Government are pissing against the wind.

Who is going to enforce any regulations, the police do not have the manpower.
