Any positives are dismissed in this forum anyway.
That’s why most leavers have....left

Not at all. I posted a positive of Brexit the other day.

Brexit has led to the elimination of a physical border between Gibraltar and Spain making freedom of movement between the two much easier.

The removal of barriers to people is always welcomed.

Lie? Thats a bit strong. Error maybe, but lie?

Without taking a poll of the entire population neither of us will ever know. So how the fuck can I lie about something neither of us know the correct answer to?

Anyway, back to Sir Simon Rattle. My contention is that anyone with a modicum of culture and education will have heard of him.
He didn't post to say that it was a lie than 99 normal people haven't heard of him.

At least we know now that Rees Mogg isn't normal.

No. To be honest I have no issue with anyone listening to classical music at all. I mean I don’t listen to it, nor do I listen to grime but it’s each time their own.
But that doesn’t mean I would expect everyone to know who Simon whatever his name is.
It’s almost like remainers feel they are above the rest of us!
You assume I have narrow interests based on what? Is it voting to leave the EU, supporting city or not listening to classical music?
I would suspect the number of people who have heard of Simon Rattle would be closer to 50 out of a hundred but @mcfc1632 will be able to give us an idea from his very representative poll of 23 probably normal people.

You are a bit paranoid about what remainers think about the rest of you (leavers) or just mistaken. I’m happy to assume you have a broad range of interests and glad to hear we have in common not listening to grime and supporting City. Have you though heard of the grime artist Rattling Simon?

I’ve heard of Simon Rattle and I very rarely listen to classical music. Maybe @Ric could set up a Bluemoon poll?

I take comfort from this being the level of 'apocalypse' that they can report on

Scraping the bottom of the 'barrel of evidence' I would suggest - which are all good indicators for the health of the UK

You take ‘comfort’ in businesses, especially small businesses, struggling to cope with the extra administrative burdens and costs of Brexit?

So you plucked that figure out of your arse. Thanks for confirming.
He did say 99 out of a hundred normal people. By normal I assume he means all the normal people who got upset about not singing Rule Britannia at the Proms, who had to ask 'what are the proms?"
By normal I meant not googled his name immediately after finding out he is a remainer
Maybe I should have said average
