So - is it most thinking adults or 50/100 - we need to be told the truth of it guys. Being clueless, uncultured and uneducated (just todays selection) - you cannot expect us to think for ourselves
Don't deliberately twist the words of other people Bob - it is out and out deceitful - but you are not alone on here

i didn't think i called you any of those things but if the badge fits.....

15 pages added this morning debating how well known Sir Simon Rattle is rather than discussing our new deal crippling the arts, suffocating businesses that import/export, impending food price hikes and destroying the fishing industry.

Deflection campaign in full flow.
We need a bit of light relief watching them squirm.

Lie? Thats a bit strong. Error maybe, but lie?

Without taking a poll of the entire population neither of us will ever know. So how the fuck can I lie about something neither of us know the correct answer to?

Anyway, back to Sir Simon Rattle. My contention is that anyone with a modicum of culture and education will have heard of him.

No they wouldn’t I accept you could be stupid and not lying so if you prefer the first that’s fine. You never watch quiz shows of any description? The majority of the country aren’t into classical music. Wonder around and ask random people to name any conductor never mind this guy and you will mainly get blank looks.

I would be amazed if 10% of the population knew who he was but I’m not trying to use it on a brexit thread and feel the need to be dishonest.

And education has fuck all to do with it, it’s just personal taste you daft sod.

People who don’t like Brexit brought up Rattle, to be fair.

Then I won't start asking who's heard of Barbirolli (son of European immigrants) in case it feels elitist to know the name of Manchester's famous orchestra.

Better being a daft sod than an ignorant c*nt don't you think?

No need. Argentina can sell more beef to the EU under the EU-Mercosur deal and eat more Malvinas lamb themselves.
I hadn't realised it had been signed and ratified yet. I guess after 20 years they must have.
