point me in the direction of their owners, managers and fans coming to our rescue over the past decade when fighting these people.

let’s s not forget Everton, villa and fucking Burnley wrote letters trying to screw us over.

They can fight their own battles on this, let’s focus on city
everton and villa are innocent

Completely destroying any integrity of UEFA's CL product.

its the only way the premier league can keep any sort of backing from investors ?
the super league has got the backers and the teams like it or not i think its going to happen

the only thing is uefa and its european football or leagues in europe (the premier league)
one has to go or both go ? a under 23 premier league team with 2 or 3 over age players from the 6 clubs could be a option. but again relegation would be a on the cards because the rest of the league teams would be better

this is going to test the system we are in right now. the premier league/football leagues will be the biggest losers
the money will be gone in a flash 14 teams in the premier league and 72 league clubs will find themselves broke and finished over night. english football will be semi pro at best

so how will the top 6 super league teams find players from other youth teams because there will be no base to work from. league football will be sunday league teams

the top 6 have not thought about how it works long term just seen the £ signs and fuck the rest

from rawk, these thick cunts just never stop..

The game's fucked anyway. I don't think this idea is what many fans would want as the solution. What we aren't going to do is beg for things to stay as they are when the Premier League has become a total farce and UEFA's flasgship FFP was last year destroyed by Man City. Save that for gravy train gobshites like Gary Neville
I bet they do not even know they failed FFP a few years ago but escaped punishment as they failed to qualify for Europe.

If we are involved then with my hand on my heart I can say I would rather watch us play whoever is left in the PL and the rest of the european clubs that get shafted. Europe may be the holy grail for the club and some fans but it isn't for me and even if we won this farce of a competition what sort of an achievement is it we will have beaten many teams who haven't even earned their place in it. The CL may have faults but the teams have earned the right to play in it for footballing reasons not because of past glory. I love City but in my eyes to join this is treating other clubs in the way we have been treated and in some ways worse because we know what it's like but are happy to pull up the drawbridge on clubs like West Ham, Leicester and Everton and shout, "We're okay now tough shit". Maybe the leagues won't stand firm it doesn't really matter this will never be right or fair and we have to admit we have become everything we loathed.
This should be posted in ten foot high letters on the gates of CFA.
Well said.

And for me this is one of the worrying things, they aren't behind it due to finances, nothing to do with morals of right and wrong. Its all about money.
It is a huge financial risk though. The whole project is being bankrolled by a US Bank and most of those involved already have huge debts. If it flopped, and there are no guarantees with anything in these turbulent times, some of these so-called Superclubs could face extinction.
