He is very meticulous. He trains things that most coaches in professional football would not train anymore. For example, receiving the ball. Or short passes. Again and again. He pays attention to every little thing. But being too meticulous is not good either. Bayern was successful before Guardiola and after Guardiola.City was also successful before Guardiola and they will also be successful after Guardiola as long as the sheikh puts his money in the club.I know you'll read in the coming years that the players all think Guardiola is the best manager they ever played under because that's exactly what all the Bayern and Barcelona and former City players say.
Our owner hasnt put money in for years , strange thing to say , also owners are not allowed to put their own money inHe is very meticulous. in a respectful and polite way. Shite.Gundo has never had a good game at DM. We didn’t play our ‘A’ team last night and we didn’t play ‘our’ game last night. It’s ok to attach a portion of blame to pep. He’s got form.
Christ, some sense being talked amid all this dross. Well done mate. That’s not how football works though is it? None of those teams has a slow methodical build up, no central striking presence, a high defensive line, a dearth of pace on an individual level, or any of the other attributes (or lack thereof) that suit Chelsea to play against. Our MO is too much for the huge majority of teams, but Chelsea aren’t one of them. Their insane high energy press and lightning forwards thrive on the space in behind us. Same goes for United. It’s why Solskjaer picks James, Rashford, Martial and Greenwood every time they come to the Etihad. We’ll win the league frequently, but if we want to win the CL, then, occasional brain farts from Pep notwithstanding, we might need one or two signings (and especially a top striker) to give us a wider spread of tactical options.
How was it bizarre. I don’t think it worked like he wanted it to, well obviously it didn’t we lost, but there was nothing bizarre about it, two wingers high and wide to stretch a packed defence, hopefully for midfielders to get into the spaces left by centre backs covering full backs. Unfortunately chelsea countered that plan with 2 dms dropping very deep and we couldn’t adapt or pick our way through ,but there was nothing bizarre about the idea.Love Pep but last night was was shite.
Sterling inclusion and no DM were bizarre and we all knew it once the line-ups were announced. It played out a lot like we thought it would, Pep must know this
You weren't following us in the Spring of '19 then?Gundo has never had a good game at DM. We didn’t play our ‘A’ team last night and we didn’t play ‘our’ game last night. It’s ok to attach a portion of blame to pep. He’s got form.
I’d have to say why didn’t we just play our current best team, Ferny instead of Sterling, and let them worry about us.How was it bizarre. True definitely wearing thin with me, it’s fucking simple stuff ffs, but they will pick their wages up and go on holiday a few maybe more can fuck off for meI’d have to say why didn’t we just play our current best team, Ferny instead of Sterling, and let them worry about us.
The frustration of the last 4 years of CL with Pep suddenly changing our lineup to suit the other side has worn thin, he’s a world class coach that feels the need to make some frankly dumb team changes.
We could have won the CL 3 years in a row with the opposition we’ve had.
Are you pretending gundo was a good dm in spring 19. Hahaha. You weren't following us in the Spring of '19 then?

Striker will make the world of difference. Think we were always going to come undone at some point and I’m just glad we got as far as we did before it stalled.
Pep has done amazingly without having a prolific striker this season but we need to add one this summer.
I think we should break the bank for Haaland if he will agree to move to us: he would offer us something very different to the options we have had in the last few years. I don't think City will go down the pay whatever it takes route though.
I think you should follow that guidance. For me.True definitely wearing thin with me, it’s fucking simple stuff ffs, but they will pick their wages up and go on holiday a few maybe more can fuck off for me
He was. But that's not a legitimate reason to change our best setup around for the final. Players had gotten used to the new routine. Are you pretending gundo was a good dm in spring 19. Hahaha.

Obviously not my call but I’m all in on Kane. I love Haaland but I’d like the finished article if possible.
