Pochettino has shown that hes nothing more than an average coach at PSG.
Dont understand the hype for him.

Look at post #2 on this threadFirstly thanks for resurrecting this site as it is a painful discussion..I imagined Nagelsman, but now not likely as at BM..Poch may be available and a good choice..Out of the recent City assistants , Arteta who is being screwed at Arsenal..Would actually have Mancini back,Simeone if not so negative but a winner,or left field and much as I hate scousers, Rafa. Hmmm. Think Simeone for me, not beautiful footy, but would win the CL for us.
He doesn't speak English, gets paid a fortune and his style of play is negative. We would need a complete over haul. Can't see it. I think if anywhere in England Chelsea would suit him.Firstly thanks for resurrecting this site as it is a painful discussion..I imagined Nagelsman, but now not likely as at BM..Poch may be available and a good choice..Out of the recent City assistants , Arteta who is being screwed at Arsenal..Would actually have Mancini back,Simeone if not so negative but a winner,or left field and much as I hate scousers, Rafa. I follow him very closely. Domestically, he isn’t great. I think he would be great in Spain.Gallardo
Thanks for taking me back to those comments back in 2018. Serious or sarcastic, l can't really tell in some cases but they gave me an early chuckle.Look at post #2 on this thread
Agree, and how poignant..Tuchel isnt going to happen now..maybe someone will come through in the next two years that we dont know about yet..There is an old guard that in two years time may be too old for a few years at City, that includes Bielsa who is a great manager. Thanks for taking me back to those comments back in 2018. Bielsa would need to have a contractual obligation to not keep looking at his feet whilst being interviewed.Agree, and how poignant..Tuchel isnt going to happen now..maybe someone will come through in the next two years that we dont know about yet..There is an old guard that in two years time may be too old for a few years at City, that includes Bielsa who is a great manager.
It'll be interesting to see how many of our fans are not convinced by Pep.I wouldn’t go as far as that but yes, he’s not helped himself with fans who were already not convinced by him.
Fortunately not many but they are out there. It'll be interesting to see how many of our fans are not convinced by Pep.
I don't understand the obsession of having a ex player as a manager when they've never done the job before.A bit leftfield but I think Fernandinho could be a guy the club put their faith in.
He would be our Pep , like when Barca gave the latter his chance.
It will be interesting to see if Fern becomes involved in a coaching role at the club in the very near future, possible EDS manager?
He is intelligent, thinks hard about the game, loves the club, and seems a natural leader off the pitch.

Whoever takes over will be taking on one of the biggest roles in football.
How many managers who are new to management get top jobs and actually do well?
If Pep was to leave in 2 years we surely go for the best manager available under a similiar style to Pep.
It will be a top foreign manager from a top European club. Anyone else would be a step backwards.I don't understand the obsession of having a ex player as a manager when they've never done the job before.

It's far from an obsession , just an observation.I don't understand the obsession of having a ex player as a manager when they've never done the job before.
