Fixtures Calendar - 2021/22

I'd say it's unlikely that we'll be allowed full stadiums initially... so getting all those tricky away games out of the way in front of 50% capacity crowds or less could actually work in our favour in a big way
 
Thats an hard start to the season , most of them can go either way lol!
I always thought the champions start the campaign with an home game ?
 
I suspect were away first because the club is bedding in the new pitch.

No Biggie.


Now we wait for Sky/BT to do their bit.

Oh there's no doubt we can chase down a lead but we have also had seasons where we've come a distant second because a team got out front early and we never looked like catching them; how much of that was a case of it impacting us mentally is harder to say.

I'm sure that having games against top sides bunched together makes life harder but if we hit our stride for them it could set us for the season.

Why do you think we won’t have full stadiums especially end of Sept early Oct?

Being as it was thought the initial lockdown was going to last a few weeks last March I would say it's fair not to be overly optimistic.
The track record of sage suggest they are the last people anyone should listen to ; )

What weird conspiracy are we all going with this season?

Playing tough games in between champions league games if anything benefits us, the opposition also have. Champions league game and seeing as we go into that draw as champions we should have an easier group to navigate and with a better squad it only gives us an advantage over Liverpool and United.
Playing spurs away first game when they don't have a manager and they won't get their euro players back until we'll into pre-season does us no harm either

That's one thing that seems to bypass people with these theories - the opposition are in the same position, and have to face us the Champions.
 
big season coming up
new faces in. old ones gone. couple of youth players coming in. pressure on pep in champions league
manchester city are still the bench mark in the premier league. but we know how things work with the 2 red scums and the officials/VAR it will be in full flow early doors

manchester city number one target is champions league and all the eggs in that basket. pep is under pressure in that department and the stick will be getting used again in battering us with
