Don’t be so sure. Jesus will probably never achieve what we thought he might for us, but stick him in a side who put the ball in front of him and he’ll score goals. Cash + Jesus could be a good deal for all concerned.

Beats me - I think that Kane gets hung up in a Levy thing; Haaland may be a target - but has Haaland expressed interest in joining our side? Commitment to our side seems to be a big factor with Pep.

Chelsea can monitor all they like but if he wants City then what's the point.

To quote Boris, we're "Oven Ready" for Kane's trophy winning ambition, and have the worlds best coach. He will get the service too and smash goalscoring records along the way. It's a nice carrot. BUT Kane has to have a plan B too. If we simply cannot do business with Levy we need him to go down that Webster route. We all accept that might not happen so then it goes to whether another club can meet the asking price. United and Chelsea can. I'm relaxed as long as we've secured a top class striker, before the others make their move.
If Haaland takes Chelsea and we take Kane, or vice versa, that'd be good. If United and Chelsea share them, and we don't get an equivalent it closes the gap. That's when we go rooting for Lukaku, Martinez etc which might work in the league but could have doubts in Europe. If Haaland threw a curveball and went Bayern, a 2 year deal for Lewandowski would be a good stop gap.
