I have criticised his performances as others have, but never said I didn't appreciate his goalsHe probably inferred it from the hundreds of posts you’ve made about him over the last 5 years.

When's he coming then? He's gonna be a primary creator, alongside Kev when he comes, his goal scoring will just be fine.
He and Sterling can play together.
July 16th?... Yeah, let's go with that. When's he coming then?
He would win 20 penners a season for the ragsI don’t particularly like the way he goes to ground too much. We’ve got players who try and stay on their feet if they can, and after seeing the positives that come from that when we can attack the space past where the challenge went in, I think that outweighs going to ground to win a free kick, slowing the game down and allowing the opposition defence to get back and set.
But outside that, I really like this lad’s game. He’s got incredible control and skill. If he can do that and keep the quality with fewer touches and quicker passing in a City side, I think he’s become an elite player.

He may get 2 or 3 penalties a season if he played for us, but would certainly get 17 or '18 bookings for "simulation" to cover the rest of his falls. He would then be known for his diving, in the same way that Dinho is known for his "tactical fouling".He would win 20 penners a season for the rags
They would improve his diving technique

mahrez was also the primary creator for lcfc however that doesn't mean it will translate to a different team, as we have seen in mahrezs case he has been pretty underwhelming since he got here.No particular axe to grind but to balance up a few comments about his stats:
- He’s the driver in a vastly inferior team to City. His role is to make stuff happen, not to get on the end of moves. Comparison with Sterling, for example, is meaningless because their roles are totally different.
- Bernie’s G & A numbers are underwhelming yet we love him for his rounded contribution.
Just sayin like.
Apart from the last 12 months where he’s been one of our best players..mahrez was also the primary creator for lcfc however that doesn't mean it will translate to a different team, as we have seen in mahrezs case he has been pretty underwhelming since he got here.
But the point of my reply was that the vast majority of our penalty claims are either ignored by the officials, and, quite often, penalised as dives - Sterling, Aguero, Tevez, etc being classic examples. Were Grealish to join our ranks, we may get more penalties because of his playing style, but just as many claims would be ignored. Not sure why some of our fans think we aren’t given our fair share of penalties
City have been awarded 20 penalties in the league over the last two seasons, only the Rags (25) have been awarded more
Of course we only scored 11 of those 20 but that doesn’t change the fact that there isn’t some massive conspiracy to deny us penalties
United the most penalties despite playing dour style of football. Not sure why some of our fans think we aren’t given our fair share of penalties

If he doesn't come to City for what ever reason, the headlines are already written for partly drafted articles:Villa apparently telling prospective players that Grealish is staying. But City's interest in him is firming up. . . (via The Athletic apparently)
IMO there are few similarities between the two in style, character or technique.mahrez was also the primary creator for lcfc however that doesn't mean it will translate to a different team, as we have seen in mahrezs case he has been pretty underwhelming since he got here.

City spend the most time of any team in the opposition box, yet we are still 2nd. Of course we should be at least 2nd or otherwise it would look really corrupt.
We should be 1st by a mile when you consider our style of play. Many many times our penalties are turned down and we get the clear ones only (we are bound to get clear ones due to our style).

As Ive said, since hes been here for the past 3 years, overall he has been pretty underwhelming even though he has delivered somewhat this season.Apart from the last 12 months where he’s been one of our best players..
You said he’s been underwhelming since he got here. He wasn’t underwhelming last season. Pretty straight forward really. As Ive said, since hes been here for the past 3 years, he has been pretty underwhelming even though he has delivered somewhat this season.
