Harry Kane

Right but the only person who compares to him in that league is Lewandowski. At Haaland's age, he wasn't bagging anywhere near as many. In fact, other than his last two freakish seasons, Lewandowski has only bettered Haaland's output twice and that's when playing for a far superior team.

Absolutely. But Haaland still outscored Kane in Europe last season whilst Kane was playing the likes of Ludogorets and Antwerp.

To be clear, I'm not trying to slag off Kane. I'm just saying Haaland's goal tallies have been ridiculous.
Great reasoning and I agree that Haaland has had ridiculous score tallies. However, unlike Kane it's not been in the best league or consistent yet.

Let's see. I guess from my posts it obvious I'm a Kane fan. Let's see how it pans out.

It is. But as the poster before pointed out, not exactly a worthwhile arguement really.
Well, it's probably worthwhile if you back either point enough.

But I agree, not if you think it's all about stats and not context. Which your entire argument seems to be built upon.

Yes, when I said it wasnt a worthwhile arguement, I meant the arguement itself, as in the point. Rather than the discussion.

Levy hasn't backed managers when he has needed to and he has taken wild punts on managers when he should have been taking a closer look at the spine of the team, and the only thing he has left is his reputation as a "tough" negotiator. Fuck him. They can keep an unhappy Kane who feels like the club haven't kept their end of the bargain and finish 6th next season or they can take the £100m and start to build a team that might challenge in a couple of years.

I'd swap Kane for either Sterling or Jesus, but that's about it. Kane has ZERO resale fee after his next big contract, while both Sterling and Jesus will recover their fee when sold.

Based on how the Euros are going, Spurs should snap up this offer because no one else is offering even half what City already (foolishly) have.

Aguero, Silva, Toure, Kompany had no resale value.

You have absolutely no idea what we have offered for Kane

You’re being delusional. They didn’t “get very lucky” and they will definitely be competing for the titles.

What a load of crap
They were lucky because we underperformed. COmbination of weakened sides and stupid tactics. It's you who are delusional.

No we left ourselves wide open and the goal gave them something to defend/counterattack.

Their league position and performances show you that I aren't all that. Pep did his usual antics.

All 3 times they beat us?

I respectfully disagree. You’re looking at the goal, I’m looking at the game.
And if you look at their points since Tuchel joined, you can imagine they would have contended for the title if he were there since the beginning. They won’t have Lampard for months next season...
