When Foden and Grealish were on England had Denmark on the ropes, Southgate pulls off his master stroke and as you say the game changed, he got away with it, fuck this negative approach, play our talented attacking midfielders and forwards, football is to be enjoyed. I don't want to see a dull midfield of Mount, Phillips and Rice, one of those only would suffice to release Foden and Grealish. Sunday will be a pretty grim final with both teams adopting defensive tactics. I doubt Phil will get a sniff.
 
I thought this was happening and people I trust who would have an idea what's what at Villa thought it was happening but the word seems to be right now that Villa aren't going to let him leave easily.
I think we will walk away from a huge fee personally.

Saka didn’t deserve to start last night, shite against Germany. Grealish and Foden stretched them and caused problems. We was drawing and then was winning after her came on. The management from Southgate to take him off was nothing short of…. Trash

come off it. We’ve just got to a final. One of the main reasons is because of southgates management.

he can’t win. Posters want him to set up like city and play amazing football - not going to happen or to play a different side

Not from me, not much against him. This was talking of his terrible management of Grealish last night and throughout this tournament. Subbing a sub is always looked down on, especially one you’ve barely played even when 4 up in the previous game. Don’t know what he’s done to Southgate but it’s one of the few things he’s got wrong in the tournament.

sorry mate, but I don’t agree. We are in a final. You don’t get to a final with terrible management.

germany game jack was great. The last few times he’s come on he’s been a bit quiet

What terrible management?

We are in our fist major tournament final since 1966, I think Southgate is bang average at best but whatever, he has got the results and built a great team spirit.

The national team is not Jack Grealish FC.

What he did to Jack shows that behind his Mr Nice Guy image, Southgate is not only ruthless but heartless ... and a poor coach too.

Sick of hearing about foden, grealish, sancho, rashford
We are a team and a squad
The reason they are doing so well is the attitude and fact that no individual is bigger than the team
These players just have to be ready and take the chance if it comes

Well said. We are managed by Mr Dull. Functional, negative, boring football. We would still get results with just a little more flair. But Mr Dull is scared stiff of conceding even one goal. Just heard Sherringham saying that Grealish will have no problem with being taken off once Mr Dull has put his arm around his shoulder. Seems that all media pundits are united behind Mr Dull being perfect. Thank god that here on this forum, real football people can see thru Mr Dull.

Nor is it Southgate FC.

Both at the World Cup and here, he has got results against mediocre teams. As to great team spirit, all winning teams have that. Not sure if Grealish and others feel the same way. But, I guess it's better to be a lucky manager than a good one.
