I think it depends on Grealish following though. Villa might decide to double his money but I reckon if it has got this far it's because everything is exhausted. I think it'll be a lot lower fee than people are thinking because this looks like its been engineered by the player/agent.

I would expect that City are at this stage due to Grealish giving City the thumbs up, otherwise what the point of discussing this any further with Villa,irrespective of Villa giving any more I don`t think they would/could match Citys salary and bonuses.
The CL is an added bonus also.

Well I was giggling at the whole fiasco while drinking with my mates at The Beech in Chorlton and openly laughing at the reds among the party getting excited about a Ferguson statue in Aberdeen that looked more like Ben Stiller.

With both the transfers the only reason I can’t see City signing both players is the fees. I cannot see City spending the kind of money that is being talked about. Hope I’m wrong and we sign both players but I think a lot has to change for these signings to happen quickly.

Because as I said, it's a lot of money AND he wants to go. If he has a new offer on the table he may not want to go anymore, and then Villa wouldn't accept any offer as he'd be signing a new deal.
