I remember the papers moaning about Rooneys price and before that Ferdinand's

It wasn't every paper and some were right up the cracks of United's arsehole.

They did get slagged off, but not to the extent of us, not that that should bother us though. Grown men crying through jealousy, it's embarrassing.

Thank god its not us doing the crying, what a great time to be a blue...;^)

To be fair it’s not me spanking you in public. It’s entirely of your own making.

You talk about “actual inflation” and you dismiss “football inflation”. So what is actual inflation to you? Are you talking about Consumer Price Index (CPI), CPIH, CPIY, CPI-CT, Core Inflation, House Price Inflation, Wage Inflation, Retail Price Index (RPI), RPIX? Which one of those is “actual inflation” given they’re all used by the ONS at times in terms of measuring inflation.

To then try and claim that “football inflation” isn’t a real thing because a) you’ve not heard of it, or b) you have heard but you’d forgotten, or c) you know about it but it ruins your argument, or a combination of the above is just silly in the extreme.

You are right, nobody knows, not sure if we ever will. Not really any different if it was 1m and 99m in add-ons. The headlines have already been written as 100m and stuck, no pulling that back now even if a true fee gets reported at some point.

The excitement in his signing is enough for me.

We might find out eventually when the accounts get presented. There will be a pulling back if City/Villa make some kind of comment when the deal is announced. VIlla are likely to emphasise the size of the fee whilst City will probably say nothing.

Can’t wait to see what pep can do with him. So much untapped potential and now training with the best players and coach in the world will no doubt see an immense improvement.

First target has to be to increase his goal tally and improve his ball retention but the sky is the limit with grealish under pep it really is the perfect match.

We don't have any connection with the English football media. I understood it in relation to the smear of Der Spiegel but when it comes to basic football operations we should put out our own news. In-house if need be. Propaganda is the art of war-fare. First you demonise your opponent then you regulate and legislate.
