Harry Kane

We all wondered why Grealish dragged on. It was because Villa wanted players in before the Grealish transfer was made public, and they wouldn't get fleeced by other selling clubs. Think the same will happen with Spurs to an extent. As others have said. Keep any Kane deal quiet, let Spurs by their players, and then announce the Kane transfer. Or maybe not?

As for as Kane, fan base is extremely disappointed in how he has gone about things, especially given, fans were on his side till May, even if he was leaving us.

As for as any potential transfer - City set the marker themselves. Having paid Grealish 100m, the minimum fair value expected for Spurs will be 160m. Ball is on city court. If they come up with that valuation, deal will happen.

Fans may have understood he was leaving and were ok with that. But they don't know what was said or agreed with Levy. Decent people who suddenly act out of character are normally the victims of poor treatment.
Who gives a shit what the fans now think. He wants out because his career is limited and he wants something to show for it at the end. Something highly unlikely if he stays with you.

City didn't set any marker with Grealish. Levy's £160m valuation was set a long before the Grealish deal.

Now the thing is i actually agree that any club can set a minimum fee for any player in contract. It's up to the buyer if they agree if the player is worth that fee. Levy is well within his rights to hold firm.

I think the sticking point is what was said to Harry last year. If Levy asked him to stay one more season and then he would let him go if a bid of more than £100m came in.
If that was the case, then everything that has followed is on Levy's shoulders. I personally think if that was the case Harry is at fault for being too naive and trusting. But maybe he thought after all his years service to the club he was owed one.

City have bid what Harry has probably told then would secure a deal. Assuming Levy has gone back on his word, we end up where we are.
From our point of view, if we don't value Harry much higher, we will walk away.

Personally, i wouldn't go above £120m with the included add ons...

"Are City killing the 'romance of football by signing Grealish and Kane?"

He then waffles on about both players being 'one of their own', etc.

During this Sam Lee looked perplexed and started smirking and smiling.(see picture)

Sam Lee has been told by Spurs sources he knows Levy and Spurs are still adamant they are not selling Kane. Lee said City are still confident of signing Kane. Lee thinks City will eventually get Kane done at some point after the Spurs match.
Guy top left also said “City spent 100 million on Grealish”

no mention of the 40 million we made in sales so it was 60 million net spend. They know this for a fact just constantly pushing their narrative that City spend what they want

they also said City clearly have loads of money. Yea we have loads of money but they know we can’t spend what we want because of restrictions so it’s irrelevant how much we e got. More incorrect narrative pushing.

Some of you will hate this, however i predicted Rooney would drastically drop in performance levels once he got to his late 20s early 30s due to his body not being naturally athletic.

I will predict the same will happen with Harry, Harry at 30 will not be performing near the levels he is at currently.

You can all quote me on this, in two years time.

One player didn’t look after himself one player does that’s the difference and why Kane will play at top level for at least another 4/5 season!

Kane will loose pace once he starts hitting his 30s and i'm afraid if he looses anymore then he wont be able to move. That is just my prediction on Kane, I may be wrong.

I can’t see much resemblance between Kane’s and Rooney’s physiques/athletic constitutions. One appeared to be someone always trying to ward off weight gain. The other looks naturally more lean.

If your prediction proves correct, I’d think it’s more likely to be the cumulative effect of injuries.

I want to know how someone finished a tournament at 21 under par, and still didn't win, other than the obvious!
