Has he even moved yet? I don't mean to a new club. I mean actually moved.Remember Wilfried Bony..?

Yes agreedCould argue Kane is more experienced and proven at top level.
World Cup golden boot winner
Premier league golden boot winner
would the employees be buzzing about Kane though? Or maybe its across the signings in the window?
Whether or not he's a City fan doesn't matter a jot.Really?
I think if he signs for Chelsea he’s just a mercenary who went for the big money move
Id be over the moon with either or both them signings, not arsed what they cost.Maybe Kane and Grealish

Whatever any player says, the simple fact is that they will always follow the money. That's perfectly reasonable - As with any professional, it's how they make a living. That's why they pay agents to negotiate deals for them.
The very idea that a player would dismiss a deal because he isn't a fan of a particular club is risible.
They're ALL mercenaries, whoever they sign for, and good luck to them as far as I'm concerned.
If a club is stupid enough to throw daft money at them, it's not their fault
I will always remember that press conference when we revealed Yaya and Metlin to an audience of hacks blinking in their lack of knowledge of who these players were, before going back to their offices to look them and then write articles running them down.No deal is a done deal, till the player is grinning holding up the shirt or sat next to the grey jumper cutout, pen in hand.
And imo, no player is an exclusive target, or wven strictly head and shoulders above all else a no.1 target.
Just as my observation to how the club have done business.
Hence my reluctance to believe kane is the only one we are after. I'd be saying the same if it were Haaland the claims were about.
Which is exactly why we should be throwing silly money at Dortmund to get Haaland. They are, which is why occasionally we need to throw daft money at one or two to ensure we stay ahead of Chelsea, who seem to have no qualms about doing so.
With respect I think that is more a reflection of the lack of knowledge English journos have of the European game rather than toure and silva being relative unknowns.I will always remember that press conference when we revealed Yaya and Metlin to an audience of hacks blinking in their lack of knowledge of who these players were, before going back to their offices to look them and then write articles running them down.
Another like that will do me fine.
