I think a short term move would work. I am still keen on Lacazette but I might be in a very small minority on that. I have warmed to the idea of Ronaldo too. I can see him going to Utd though. We could easily get gazumped there.150 million for a 28 year old with dodgy ankles, is quite simply too much.
Id have taken him for , perhaps 60 mill, but Spuds would never entertain that.
Pleased he’s gonna stay on the Spuds physio table, rather than coming to ours. Kane will be thoroughly pissed off, and Levey is stuck with a depreciating asset that doesn’t want to be there.
If Ronaldo comes, the swamp dwellers will go into meltdown and we can potentially sign Harland next summer.
winner all round for me.. cmon City
Nobody incoming seems more likely. All summer it was said to be Kane or bust. So after busting, anyone we sign now is a panic buy. I don’t think we’ll do it.Ronaldo incoming
Lol, fuck me dont even bother following us this season thenThe fact of the matter is, Chelsea will be top at Christmas and they will have a lead big enough to make it virtually impossible for us to catch them. Just like the scousers two seasons ago.
I hope I've spelt that out clearly enough.
Kane is too stupid and his brother worse. The old Delph trick eh…
I'm relieved we didn't lay that kind of cash out for him. Makes me feel a little better. I've hoped all along that we're doing a Dias 2.0 and we end up with a younger cheaper option who by mid season we're all over the moon with. We'll see I guess.I'm only remotely bothered by this if we've been foolish enough not to have backups. Given this has happened now and not in 5 days time I expect us to move swiftly. We need a striker, doesn't have to be Kane.
Wasn't mocking him mate, was interested in his view, I think he called it a few days ago that it had gone suspiciously quiet, so just interested in his reaction. Sorry if it came over the wrong way, I'm not that guy. What do you want him to say, why are you @ing him?
Someone willthing with Haaland who will pay the fee, demanded wages, agent fees.
Honestly I don't see enough live football(I don't think watching a game on TV works either) to give a considered opinion and it always makes me laugh when people throw names in the ring...without having seen a player more than a couple of times live....(the only player I have done that with was Silva seeing him once live was enough to think he was the real deal). No point in buying for the sake of it, can you make a striker who would improve us?
There's still a Messi thread mate. Please fuck this thread off now......it's over
There's a bit of witch hunt for the ITKs at the minute, so no harm done pal!Wasn't mocking him mate, was interested in his view, I think he called it a few days ago that it had gone suspiciously quiet, so just interested in his reaction. Sorry if it came over the wrong way, I'm not that guy.
I understand and appreciate your undying love for the Legend that is Kun Kaz, but let it go, his best days were behind him due to the incredibly bad run of injuries he has endured over the last few years and ........... he's currently injured!I was in the no camp on kane , hope with the options we have we can cope
Cue abuse but we let sergio go too soon ,if he is swapped for ronaldo i will cry
Why has someone to be at fault? Not Kane’s fault - he wanted to join but we wouldn’t pay the asking price. Maybe he didn’t put a transfer request in?
Not Levy’s fault - he’s got every right to demand a high price.
City’s fault? I’d say so. We must have known the price would be extortionate yet still carried on with it all right until the final week of the window. Naive is the word for it.
Nearly got me with that.Let’s run this.
we unsettled Laporte and Jesus.
we passed on haaland who apparently wanted a move.
we passed on the holy grail that was Messi.
we showed Kun the door.
all based on Kane’s awful management.
staggering.
