Harry Kane

Came on to say the same thing. I’ve been saying the same all Summer. Stupid stupid price. It would have been a serious ‘head’s gone’ moment from us to pay anything more than £90m for Kane.

What was your chant @ninjamonkey ? Can’t remember the start of the second verse.

“Fuck off Harry Hotspur
We do not want you here
We we’re going after you
I’ve no fucking idea

???????????????
???????????????
So fucking stay at Tottenham
With that skateboard for a chin”
Not one of mine pal, first I'm hearing.

I'd personally go with a simple "Carson's won more than you" the next time we play against him. That'll run deep.

Harold Steptoe has been forced to put a brave face things after watching his dreams go up in smoke, after lonely miser Albert pulled the rug out from beneath his suitors feet at the last minute, refusing to release Harold from the vice like grip he has over his life.
Are we going after Vardy now?

What difference does that make? Didn’t both Milner and Nasri feature in the opening games for their clubs before we signed them a few days later ?
Kane had been nowhere near the squad despite being fit to play, it was clear that by last weekend things had gone backwards, hence he started to reintegrate himself.

It gets worse D, he wasn't even having an affair with her at that point as far as I know. The first time he fingered her was on my sofa which neatly dovetailed with the first time I fingered her, he was busy at the front whilst I was plying my trade to the rear.

I'm not sure quite what the Atlantic bar in that there central London made of us all. I came back from the toilet to see them snogging each others heads off and reciprocated in kind when he went for his comfort break.

I left them to it on the sofa at about 4.00 in the morning as we both had to work the next day. No idea what happened and I never really wanted to either. Don't have those sort of evenings too much (at all) these days.
In a fuckin bar too!! Bwahahahahahaha!! Lol :-)

If I were Kane though I would tell Levy that if you value me at £150m then pay me top dollar i.e. £400k+ p.w.
He can say whatever he likes but he’s under contract and unless the Club want to volunfairly up his pay to £400k a week (not happening) he‘ll be wasting his breath.

I hope this pursuit is now officially over. We need to concentrate on developing our young talent such as Torres and Delap and if we still need a striker next season make a move on Harland or Mbappe.

I think we have more than enough in the squad to score a load of goals this season.

End of the day he isn’t worth £150 million but we have fucked up by not having a plan b and it will cost us his season. Torres Jesus and delap will not win us the title .
I fear you are right they may not be clinical enough in the big games. Delap is no more than raw potential currently and it really is romantic wishful thinking to expect him to make a difference. I thought 125 M for Kane was excessive but would have just about gone along with it, but at 150 M it was a bridge too far. Still have time to sign up a replacement but perhaps the best we can do at this stage unless we have a good Plan B is Plan C CR7 a good stopgap.

Is this Kane bottling it or us not being bent over by Levy? If it’s the latter I think we’ve missed a trick, would love to have seen him here even if it costs north of 150m. He’s worth 40 goals a season and assists

City now have a few days to pull something out of the bag. We need a striker for this season and to have no plan b is worrisome. The success of this season now hinges on what they can sort out of all this mess.

Ffs.

Jesus and Laporte had blinders at the weekend and look very happy. No statements of dissatisfaction.

Haaland does not want a move now, he wants it next summer when it will enrich his Dad and agent. This is well known and frankly absolutely obvious given the money involved.

Messi toyed with us twice before, stated he wanted to stay in Barcelona, and would always have chosen Paris over Manchester anyway.

Aguero barely played for 2 years and is injured AGAIN. It's over for him at this level, he's an expensive passenger.

When I "look at the above" I see a load of bollocks.

well if you see a load of bollocks it’s probably because you’re balls deep in it and looking up.

I’ve literally had the best Messi info this forum ever had as it came directly from him. Two friends were both working on separate projects with him with Messi taking orders from one for 5 hours a day for a week.First time we were heavily linked with him I knew it wasn’t happening and he was openly raging about his tax situation in Spain and using us to leverage Barca and Spain. If city thought they had him that time, worse fools them. Jorge Messi 100% shafted us last year and when Messi became available this year, I think city couldn’t see past Kane and their damaged pride over last year. We may never know but I reckon he’d have come had we entertained it but didn’t want to deal with Jorge Messi again.

I’ve a contact in the agent world and most of what I get isn’t related to city but you can fill in the gaps.

you can literally piece news stories from reliable sources together to see what I put down was based in actual news doing the rounds. So bollocks it was not.

We clearly don’t want to lose Laporte but were happy to offer him to Spurs. He’s moody at the best of times and currently 3rd wheel so offering him to Spurs was insanity(unless you think Ake knows how to play football).

I know for a fact we were offering out other players to prem teams(names I won’t give out but have DM’d to our trusted itk’s to verify) and reading into everything now we approach the end of the window I can’t help but feel we’ve been very cavalier and somewhat disrespectful when it’s come to how we’ve gone about our business this summer.

but you’re entitled to think that’s bollocks too.

I’m honestly relieved that we’re not going to be spending the kind of figures that have been reported on a 28 year old. I’m pretty annoyed that we let it get this late in the window though. We should probably have walked away weeks ago. And I’m still pretty nervous that we’ll do something monumentally stupid like decide to try again for him in January, or give up the pursuit of a striker this window.

Ideally, we’d go and get Ronaldo now. I think he’s actually a better fit for what we need. If that can’t be done for any reason then we need to quickly start looking at other options, particularly short-term solutions. Failing to sign a striker should not be an option. The club would be wise to remember how failing to replace Vinny cost us. We’re up against probably the strongest opposition ever this season in Chelsea.

kane bottled it big time
now spurs have a player going through the motions and seeing other players picking up medals at city

levy will be the biggest loser in all of this
