Harry Kane

I wouldn't be too sure about that.

Levy will stretch the deal out as long as the Spurs Board allows him to do so. I think it entirely possible that the Spurs Board would rather see Kane stay than leave, regardless of the amount.

They obviously feel able to manage the level of debt they have over a number of years, or they would have been holding a fire sale during this window.

They were happy to offer Kane a long term deal regardless of the level of debt. They're in control here.
Whatever amount Spurs want is just what City will have to pay if we really want Kane.
That is an unpopular opinion on here!

Do you understand how we set up for the majority of last season?

The term false 9 ringing any bells?
Do you even understand that other teams are also investing? And results from the past doesn't give you any kind of assurances. Tactics also needs constantly involvements. Just because we did it last season for the first time, and did well on it, still doesn't give you any kind of guaranties it will work again.

He's got to be worth more than that... £75m at least!

He plays and scores for the best team in the country and regularly starts for Brazil and he's still young.

The rags spent £73m on Sancho and Jesus is better than him right now.
Oh I agree, I low balled it just to say it’s £150m minimum.
For me he’s an excellent player, more than goals.
Kane ‘might’ make us stronger but losing Gabby in the process will weaken us IMO.

Do you think Pep and his coaches are numb nuts? In every Prem winning season we have evolved it’s why we pay one of the best there has been in the last two decades to mull these issues over.

Looks like an orchestrated climb down to me. Levy probably got into his head, suggesting to him that City will be chasing Messi. No doubt he still wants to leave, but will now go about repairing bridges since it doesn't look like Spurs are willing to budge and City won't meet their extortionate valuation. If there is a lesson in here for professional footballers, it is that you should never agree a long-term contract with a mid-table club without a viable release clause.

Agreed. You see Grealish’s deal was pretty straight forward because he wanted to come and we paid the clause, simple. Any ‘delay’ was Villa.

That’s obviously where Charlie Kane hasn’t done his job.
