Always better to wait, yep. Way too many are convinced it's happening alreadyI think everything depended on how much pay cut he would take. But you are right, unless he seats next to Txiki , I am believing nothing

Any excuse to repost this. The way they think he needs approval..
Same disclaimer as before, don't wish him dead.
The only thing that's 95% certain right now is that he'll leave Juventus. As far as I heard, they're just waiting for an official offer. Wether it'll arrive from City I don't know, but the journos say it's one of the possibilities.
Mendes jet descending into Tenerife.
TBH if he had retired from football he'd still have a value of ten million over the two year period to coach the young strikers we have, its a no brainer mate this fella is going to rub his skills off on the likes of Delap etcNot saying it would make a difference but can you imagine the possible effect on Foden this could have. Similar players at the same age, not the stopovers and diving as such, but having the football world at your feet and what it takes to make it to the top. Call Ronaldo what you want, a diver, vain etc but not one person can deny his dedication to being the best player he could be.
Absolutely. It's why I keep saying Foden and Jesus in that front three with him - they have bags of energy and can do the hard running and pressing for him. You tell Ronaldo to stand on the penalty spot and make runs across the front post (which we don't have a player with that instinct) keep the central defenders occupied, and get on the end of an occasional cross from Kev. It's only a short term solution, but I legitimately couldn't think of another front four in world football better suited to just letting him go out and score goals.thing is with this he dosnt even have to play himself into the ground, the team around him will do the work and he'l stick it in the net,if it was another club lets say spurs or even united he'd have to do a lot of work to get the same results as he would at city
I've been trying to catch up for the last hour still 10 pages behindI did, I have!
I want us to do it properly. With our vast network of scouts on several continents the best we can come up with is a fading 36 yr old who comes with huge baggage ? Where’s the joined up thinking ?
Was he ever sober. Was bacon chops pissed there?
He's not the flying winger he was any more. He'll be the target man for KDB, Raheem, Grealish, and Mahrez to aim for. He'll be a nightmare for every opposition defender, and at times, for Pep Guardiola! That was my next question. What does ronaldo do to the dressing room dynamic and how does he impact future strikers coming. Where does he even play now - right up top ?
So Covid 18, rather than 19?Any excuse to repost this. The way they think he needs approval..

We'll certainly fill the grounds round the countryThis is going to cause some serious grief.
What do you think the reaction will be at away grounds around the country? They will boo him wont they, but I don't think it will be hate. It will be a madness.
It’s the lack of forward planning that’s worrying. A striker to play with / phase out Sergio should’ve been bought in Summer 2019. If signing Ronaldo is such a good strategy why weren’t we interested in him then or last summer ?How is a guy who scored 60 league goals in the last two seasons not a good back up to the Kane deal falling through
Very clever...So Covid 18, rather than 19?
we arguably have the likeliest 2 players to get fouled in and around the box in Grealish & Ronny (if he signs), which could make defenders a bit twitchyAbsolutely.
