Just want to say thank you for keeping on posting, Tolm. The whole Kane saga was weird from start to finish and we probably got mixed messages from Kane’s brother and Levy.

That certain deals don’t lead to fruition happens but it’s clear that you have an inside track and good info and 99% of the real forum members here appreciate the transfer windows here with you. So thank you and please keep on doing what you do. Hopefully we’ll have an ace up our sleeve.

One thing I think people need to take a step back and realise is that the reason everything has looked a mess isn't so much the fault of the club. City have stayed silent throughout trying to do their business. We said very little as we tried to get Jack done (villa pushed that news), said nothing as we privately tried to work a deal for Kane (Levy made sure his briefing and chums kept that running) remained silent as Ronaldo used our name to get his deal.

Perhaps it could be that there are other deals on the radar with clubs who understand the best way to do a deal is privately like a business not a media circus. I'm not ITK in anyway I just think calling the club unprofessional for this summer is unfair to a degree because the club are the ones who have kept their decorum throughout these sagas.

Like @tolmie's hairdoo has said, there are people working hard in the background. And if we don't get anyone, well we didn't do so badly last year did we. Yes Chelsea have improved, but they were far behind us last year in the league, they're the ones having to improve.

Not saying people aren't entitled to feel frustrated I just think there is a degree of...well chaos here

think people need to grow up and take a stock of things. football isn’t the be all and end all, this past 18 months have proved there’s more important things in life. crying over your club not signing someone is honestly ridiculous. disappointing? yes. end of the world? no. look at the team we already have. would it be great to improve it? ofc but we’re not going to get every player we go for, and expecting the club to deliver every time just reeks of entitlement
