Bizzare thing to say. I guess you are saying this just for the sake of argument ,so fairs. Lol
Why is that bizarre, they have added one player, we have added one player. I think from what I’ve seen so far Grealish makes a lot of the players around him more effective. Swapping Torres and Jesus has already improved us as well.

because we're not sheeple and we're able to discern when something OBVIOUSLY doesn't go to plan?

Plus, having signed grealish doesn't make not getting a strike not a fuck-up??? if you signed jan oblak for 100m would you say that was a successful window? No because you didn't solve the (admittedly not that big) holes in your squad and instead strengthened an already strong position. Getting grealish is the definition of icing on the cake but we forgot to get the cake this window.
Says who? Pep said he's extremely happy with his squad that's good enough for me

It most certainly is. Hope he is happy about it too.
The reason he is undervalued is for this very reason, no smacked arse, kicking off because he hasn’t got his way, no media slants or curve balls... he’s basically an intelligent lad and professional to the core, and for me, one of the first names on the team sheet!

Jinxed it!
in his new article-City are not expecting any incomings or outgoings before the transfer window closes. Bernardo Silva, the 27-year-old midfielder, discussed a potential move with Mendes last week. The agent notified Silva of an offer from AC Milan, but the Portuguese was not interested in a move to the Italian club.

Silva had told City earlier in the summer that he wanted to move to Spain to be closer to his family, but neither Barcelona nor Atletico Madrid were able to match City’s asking price of more than £50 million.

Do you not think that our resorting to high balls into the box when we have no target man somewhat affects that shot count? If we had a striker who had an aerial threat, Chelsea and Leicester couldn't have done to us what they did, it changes the whole dynamic.

I'm not getting overexcited or thinking we have no chance but acting like it wouldn't make a big difference is head in the sand stuff.
It really isn’t head in the sand. Neither of us have any idea if having a striker would’ve changed the outcome

You’re stating your opinion as a fact, when it really isn’t fella

Sometimes stats don't tell the correct story.

Weaker in both PL and UCL because rivals are stronger. And if we try to play similarly from last season, we might find that playing with fans in the stadium changes the dynamic of the game and could be an issue. Chelsea, PSG and Liverpool away in a row in September will be a good test
Are they stronger? Yes they have added to their ranks, but it's far too early in the season to say they are stronger, as not all signings work out as well we know.
Having watched the dippers, rags and chelsea so far this season, I'm not seeing any obvious improvements to them

We was never interested in Ronaldo, he got offered to us if you remember.
I hate the ronaldo saga. I don't want to remember it.
My simple point is, why did we jumped on ronaldo train if our plan was kane or nothing this season. Had we not, it would have saved us a massive embarrassment.
City issued statement that they were pulling out of ronaldo saga, that means we were in to sign him.

Chelsea added one player in a position they needed most, which was different than what we did, and who knows, might add another still. United clearly improved. Liverpool will be stronger naturally compared to last year. PSG. Bayern has a stronger squad too and it will take Nagelsmann a massive fuck up for it not to work. These are basically all of our realistic UCL rivals and even Madrid, which is still light years from what they wanna be, seem to be in a right direction.
From what I’ve seen so far united clearly haven’t improved. I would also not be surprised if Torres scores more than Lukaku this season if he plays all season centrally. Neither Bayern nor Madrid worry me.
Chelsea will be close, PSG a bit unknown but could challenge us. Nobody else really concerns me.

I agree, he is a complete professional, keeps his head down and gets on with it. He was, and continues to be a fantastic player for us.

But if the reports about his bird moaning are true, are you under the same impression as me................fucking bin her ? :)

Rags still have players to debut and find cohesion, but there’s a whole season to get there. Liverpool and Chelsea for me are clearly stronger based on these initial games
