City not answering the phone

Could city supporters club or city matters try and help with this?

seems like lots of people have complaints, but no one is standing up for us

It seems to take at least an hour, on hold, shit music but no message saying how long.

I tried to sort out my DD and tried a few times waiting 30/40/60 mins each time and gave up each time, because I had shit to do, but eventually got through last Tuesday after about an hour. Spoke to Lewis who was great and sorted it all out but fuck me, what a shit service!
I got inspector Morse when I rang. I’m in 93:20 mind.

City Matters are fully aware of it, they have raised it with the club, the Club have acknowledged they have fallen well short. We are all now holding our breath awaiting the changes

The supporter services, er, service isn't fit for purpose. I was on hold for nearly an hour a few weeks back before getting through to a lady in ticket sales (calls were being redirected there, apparently). Now, I'm sure she was kind to animals, gave up her seat on the bus to little old ladies and donated regularly to "charidee". But she was about as useful as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest. As Quint said in Jaws; "Jesus H Christ"

And that's with no disrespect meant to any amputees on here.

Whilst that ain't great you got a result only holding for an hour!

Every match going blue I speak with absolutely hates the club in terms of service and how they go about things.

They must put so many people off.

You could travel from Birmingham and it would be quicker.
I travelled through from Wigan last week thinking I was going out of my way. Got speaking to the bloke in the queue behind me and he’d travelled all the way from Leicester as he couldn’t get through.

I miss Bernard.
The ticket office was a complete fucking shambles when he was club secretary, I am not sure where this “saint” Bernard reputation came from. The only thing he accomplished as club secretary, based on my dealings with him, was that he did it for a long time. Badly. However it is more inexcusable that it is still shite in the current era

Ah, but a lot of the Oldham/Chadderton blues knew Bernard and could go straight to him.

Given BH used to be an Oldham fan that doesn’t surprise me.
Not according to him, City and Oldham RLFC… though he did work for Oldham Athletic…

A lifelong City supporter, Bernard – who was born in May 1941 - watched his beloved Blues from the terraces of Maine Road as a child, watching the Club’s fluctuating fortunes of the 1950s and 60s.

Born and raised in Chadderton, he completed his education at St Gregory’s in Ardwick in 1956 - and after a spell in the cotton industry - Bernard joined his local club, Oldham Athletic, as secretary, before fulfilling a boyhood dream by taking up a key role with his beloved Blues 13 years later.

“We had many happy years of marriage, but his first love was definitely City – they always came first” … Mrs Halford

Not enjoying reading this thread. I think as a Citizen Matchday member who has today been sent an email with link to download my ECL ticket to my iPhone, I need to phone up tomorrow for the first time this season, to request they send me a new email with Print At Home faculty (as my iPhone is older than iPhone 6).
As I understand it, that’s the only way I’ll be able to get in (without buying a new phone), and will need to go through the same rigmarole of phoning up 7 days before every match I want to go to this season(?) … some phone bill I’m gonna have

Good luck mate, give us an update of how long you were on hold for.
