City not answering the phone

Anyone tried contacting the club in the last couple of days?

I've got an issue with my Cityzens account, spent an hour on hold yesterday, another 30 minutes today. No-ones answering.

Incredibly poor service, very frustrating.
No fans , no staff I guess…..
 
Sent my mobile ticket to somebody on my friends list ,disappeared into the ether.
Contacted customer services ,30mins hold, finally got through and thought I had sorted it but no
they had sent my son a print at home one of his ticket instead
Another 40 mins wait on the phone and a guy picks up who obviously knew what he was doing , 5 minutes later all done and he even said he will phone me back on Thurs to check it was all sorted
Very professional and more knowledgeable than the usual. I would hazard a guess as Management but some people there know what they are doing ... just some dont

Tried ringing, tried emailing, tried tweeting, no success with any of it. Prior to lockdown, contacting the club was excellent, now just the opposite. Without boring people with the details, couldn't go to the Arsenal or Norwich game because of this lack of contact (yep I am a season ticket holder). Though it isn't just City, the Lowry are similarly difficult to speak to.

Emails are no better. In previous years, I've emailed City many times & always received a reply (not always quickly, admittedly, but still).

This year I've emailed them on 3 topics & all 3 were ignored / no reply.

Not sure what's going on - did covid give everyone the excuse to forget customer service from now on ?
 
The ticket office was a complete fucking shambles when he was club secretary, I am not sure where this “saint” Bernard reputation came from. The only thing he accomplished as club secretary, based on my dealings with him, was that he did it for a long time. Badly. However it is more inexcusable that it is still shite in the current era

Just a bit of an update for everyone trying to contact Supporters Services.
As per my messages yesterday i could not update my new c/c details online for my cup schemes.
My other half talked me into calling this morning as i am off work (she twisted my arm saying that i would probably miss the PSG and i’d regret it)

I called at 8.55am
Annoying hold music for about 15mins
Line went silent
Cut off after 39mins on hold

I called back and after 51mins of annoying hold music a real human lady with a voice answered my call (I SHIT YOU NOT)

She attached my new credit card details on my City account to my cup schemes
It took around 23 seconds - she just read out the last 4 digits and changed it!

Good luck to everyone trying to sort your problems, i hope i’ve shown you a tiny bit of light at the end of that fuck off massive long bastard tunnel.
If they can put a man on the moon, maybe you can get through to supporter services on the phone

The user name is and always intended to be ironic MES. I hated Swales with a passion, and I didn’t like BH either. Did fuck all for City, just happened to be around for a long time
 
Lad who sits in front of me, East Stand, only has a BT landline. It's been costing him a fortune calling to order away tickets. Regularly over a hour each time. He's now on my friends and family so I can order tickets for him. Probably what City has been pushing for all summer. Customer contact is no more.
