It truly baffles me at times that the worst government in my lifetime is still ahead in some polls, never mind still being in power. I know Labour is a shambles and the Lib Dems are even worse, but fuck me how bad is it.

England and I say England specifically is for some reason beyond my ken is besotted with a lying immoral old Etonian, it has taken deference to another level.

Its not just Johnson as fucking bad as he is, its dimwits like Williamson, lunatics like Patel, dangerous cunts like Gove, imbeciles like Raab , liars like Duncan-Smith and posh mummies boys like Rees Mogg. How the fuck do the people of England identify with these fuckers, they are nothing like the majority of English people, England has always taken great pride in honesty, integrity and morality, these Tory cunts have none of that, they enrich their mates, they punish the poor, they encourage division, all whilst attempting to portray themselves as some sort of patriots. What is patriotic about cutting £20 from UC, by making the poorest pay the most for their economic illiteracy. Have we really become a country that would rather immigrants drown than be given a paltry amount of welfare. Where is the honesty on immigration, where is the honesty and transparency on public procurement.

We have Tory politicians who seem at ease with racism, even excuse it, we have Tory politicians lying in media interviews but they are never questioned about the lies. If you can tell a lie often enough without challenge it becomes the truth, Goebbels would be amazed at how this has happened.

Then we have culture wars, wars that take minority issues and make them mainstream, then use myth to make them real. The classic that comes to mind was people were actually getting angry there was no audience singalong at Last Night of the Proms when there was no audience. How idiotic is that,

Labour has nothing to counter this, lifelong anti-racists are now woke virtue signallers, its the new PC gone mad. How can Labour promote progressive values when everything is shouted down as woke, the people espousing progressive values are virtue signallers. I am a lifelong anti racist and anti fascist but now old rich white men who like to be racist see me as the bad influence on society. I am the one who is wrong because i believe in equality of opportunity and fairness, i believe in progressive values, I truly believe Socialism would make our nation a greater more equitable country, where people have dignity , can do a good days work for a good days pay, but have a safety net for when times are hard, I believe in the family and that the state has obligations to the people through the democratic process. I want a strong state, that is well policed, has healthcare when required free at the point of use, an education system that favours nobody but gives all an opportunity to make the best of their abilities. Where are Labour on this, i do not see it, under the current leadership the party is at ease with Capitalism, its frightened of tackling the issues that matter because they might be called woke or virtue signallers.

Well, I am virtuous and I do not give a fuck who thinks different, i was brought up to have virtue, i do not need to signal it, i am comfortable with my ideals, my morals and ethics, I jut wish that Starmer and the Labour party would be comfortable with theirs , because we need them as this government is destroying the very fabric of the nation I love.

Doesn't baffle me at all, most people of the younger generations who won't be voting tory or have voter apathy anyway get their news online rather than wait for 6 or 10 o'clock bulletins or rolling news channels, those older who will make the effort to vote will watch our very weak political news coverage, where every distateful act is treated leniently as we no longer have proper investigative journalism.

If someone does challenge their actions, behaviour or performance they just ignore them or don't answer and said news channel seems to just shrug amd carry onto some other news.

In general the Socialist left think he is clueless, vindictive and is more animated about ridding the Socialists from Labour than he is opposing the Tories. If he walks the walk rather than throwing sound bites out to appease whoever he's meeting then I will campaign for him.

Blair promised repealing the anti trade union laws to keep the left of the party onside. He won a big enough majority to do it. Then quietly dropped it as corporate donors appeared.

It's not so much the party getting behind him, it's convincing the floating voters and the old labour voters who feel they're looked down and not listened to by Starmer and the party.

The working demographic of the UK has changed dramatically over the last 50 years. The traditional Labour workers have vanished along with the Pits, Steelworks, Ship Yards, Docks, Railways etc.

Labour need to change tack drastically and not be so beholding to the Unions, if they are ever going to be relevant again.

Believe me, the unions have very little influence on the party nowadays. Yet they are happy to take our subs. Which is why UNITE and others are considering withdrawing their funding.
