Corruption in English football?

18 months ago the Saudis were refused permission to buy Newcastle. The Premier League thought they were the top dog and could do what ever they wanted. They thought the Saudis would go away, they wouldn't and they didn't.
Clearly the PL realised that if the matter went to court as it was destined to, some very dirty stuff would come out into the open. They could not let that happen and so caved in. Yes we will hear how it has all changed but has it fuck. Its the same Saudis as before fronted by Stavely so nothing is different.
The question is what dirty secrets did they want desperately to keep from us ?

Principally, the collusion between the league and other clubs to keep the Saudis out. They are scared to death of the mooted regulator. I have always maintained that the owner-managers of a competition should not be the regulator as well. See UEFA and ffp.

There might be more to it than that, like why the Rag's and the Dipper's were allowed to vet the PL Chief Executive position, or even further back than that to the inception of the PL and its governance structure and influences the 'Big-4' had.

We are victim of the cartell and corruption.

We are constantly reported by the yanks Owners and we have an on going court case behind closed doors because apparently we broke FFP.( Not UEFA but the PL FFP)

Newcastle will be the next Victim

If our accounts show we stayed within the rules, PL will find it impossible to sanction us. CAS ridiculed the idea that our accounts were fraudulent, which was part of Uefa's case.
My reading is that PL feel they must respond to a complaint but are now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Liverpool have a lot to answer for.

We are a victim? 3 times in the last 5 years? LOL

If we are an example of victimisation , I like it a lot.

If anyone thinks that it's unlikely that corruption is possible English football watch episode 3 of 'Bad Sport' on Netflix about the 2006 Serie A Calcipoli scandal.
just watched this. If people don't think elements of all this go on just need to watch Tierney 2 weeks ago. Christ, it's staring you straight in the face.
