They need someone who is good at cheating without making it look obvious. I've no doubt after the weekend OliVAR's ratings have taken a bit of a hit due to the fact he made it look TOO obvious.

What still baffles me about the Gabby non-penalty:
If the the reason for OliVAR not giving the penalty was because the defender got a toe on it why was the restart a goal kick and not a corner???

Normally the ref isn’t too shy to make a decision that is going for us when the game is already over. So the FA or media or both can say: “You do get your share so stop moaning”.
When Gaby was fouled in the 88th minute the game was already over for 88 minutes, Oliver might as well just followed orders and handed what simply was a stone wall penalty anyway. Or did he think Ronaldo would still be able to ....?
Nah. I mean if so, even the VAR must‘ve had the same thought about Ronaldo. Oh wait, there wasn‘t any now was there. That’s why the incident got hardly any attention. Let’s not be critical on the VAR.

Definitely gave a corner, both in the direction he pointed, and that he pointed up not down towards the line.
