Wasn't it Danny Murphy who called for opposition players to rough City players up a bit?

Couple of seasons back now though, hazy memory, some pundit said it on motd.

Yes it was. He was openly calling for opposition players to, and I quote, “leave one on him” (Kev) as he believed Kev was too good.
he wouldn’t have done it himself though if he was still playing. Dany Murphy was a shit house as a player. And as a man.

Brewin (a united fan) was definitely one of the handful of tossers deliberately going after City fans, me & Rabin included. We believe he set up a Twitter account called secul8r to do that. But there's a trick you can use to get an idea of a user's email address and, if it was him, it looked like he used his own email address. So not too bright.

And I still laugh at Delooney making great play of his degree in journalism, as though it conferred some higher intellectual status on him. He's thick as mince in reality.

We are CTID. We are fanatical. In this milieu, there are some people who will go the other way and work fanatically against a football club and they erect all kinds of ideology to justify it. Once they have the experience of war they wont go back. They will fight this war until the day they die.

There's a distinction to be made between those people who are occasionally critical of Manchester City, normal rational people, and those who are obsessed.

He's not a journalist, like most of them they're glorified fanzine writers who hate that their favourite club, either utd or liverpool, aren't the top club anymore.

I always urge City fans just to block or ignore them as it's attention and clicks that keeps them in a job.

In the last nine years, I don't think I've heard a single pundit discuss United's woes without using the phrase "It's Manchester United" or "This is Manchester United we're talking about" as if they're somehow entitled to success purely because of the club's name.

"Journalism" is saturated these days. As you say, there's too many wannabe "writers". Fans just want to enjoy the game and give each other banter. The press wouldn't be missed.
