yes thats the one I'll always associate with him. It was as bent as it comes. Staggering how he got away with it. If you watch the highlights on youtube it doesnt even seem like its real. Arsenals unbeaten run was ending that day.

Edit. Arsenal were lucky no one picked up a serious injury

Amazed they changed the original decision to make it a penalty.

VAR has been consistent in one thing since it was introduced......inconsistency!!

I find it difficult to see them as favouring one team, they make very poor decisions regarding many teams on many occasions.

I do believe they are corrupt or at least have an agenda to influence and manipulate results. The discussions between the ref and VAR need to be audible and everybody needs to know how and why they came to the conclusion they did.

With the huge sums involved in the sport these days, I cannot understand why there hasn't been a push to sort out this ongoing problem. It appears to me to be getting worse. I'm not sure who can push for something like that, the clubs?

I don't watch football elsewhere, so I have no idea if this is the norm in other leagues, but I suspect it isn't.

Regardless, we are not going to get perfect decisions 100% of the time, I don't think anybody expects that, but this standard cannot be accepted in the best football league in the world, officiated by, on the whole, second tier referees making increasingly dubious and questionable decisions.

Trent Alexander Arnold - 10
Mohamed Salah - 9
Andrew Robertson - 8

Compare this with 2017-18 when it was all City at the Top 4
Kevin de Bruyne - 16
Leroy Sane - 15
David Silva - 11
Raheem Sterling - 11

Our players are not individually standing out in either the goals or assists column.

Sorry to disabuse of the fact that I am indeed a red/dipper/****/glory hunter or what ever name you wish to use.
The fact that I may make people think that I may be a blue in disguise is perhaps somethign of an issue with the whole of football at present.
The fact it has become so tribal and down right hostile at times. People unwilling to back down, to consider the fact that they could in fact be wrong...when quite often in every day life we are....well thats what the wife tells me regularly!
I will be blinkered at times and have different views but I am willing to admit when I see something wrong.....examples being that I still think Mane on Azpilacueta was a yellow as he didnt look at him. Fabs goal against you should have stood as City player deflected the ball onto TAA's arm , so accidental.......and that Salah only goes to ground when there has been contact...albeit that it may not take that much!

Does that still make me @Blue Mist 's "wingman"?

I cannot watch that vid as it really winds me up. We have suffered a lot of bent decisions these last few years but nothing as blatant as that.
When people day there is no agenda I refer them to that match.

He then gave a penalty for a rooney dive. A shocking "performance" which should have been his final involvement in refereeing.
