Watched the first 20 mins, then gave up and switched off. As you say, spoiled by the accent but even apart from that I thought it was a depressing load of sh--e. Over hyped rubbish which seemed to be all about low life with the main selling point being the popularity of Martin Freeman. I've better things to do than spend my evenings watching stuff like that.

This will be the Dippers last title challenge , if you can call it that , they have an ageing team with at least eight of their mainstay players approaching their 30's , it all depends it Clubshop has the stomach to re-build another team and if their bloodsucking Yank owners will throw him a few quid to buy players. Dotn expect either of these to happen and Klippety will buggering off when he realises catching our lcub is becoming a thankless task.
Would like to thank clubshop for at least keeping us on our toes for the last few seasons , but there has to be a limit on how many times you can polish a turd.

As mentioned, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are top class in their respective positions and if remaining injury free, have years of playing time left. Tsimikas, he looks as good, if not better than Robertson.

Alisson, along with Ederson are the two best keepers in the world and that Kelleher could play for most Premier League teams.

van Dijk is solid at the back. Matip always gives me the impression of Bambi On Ice......but is deceptively effective. Their new signing from Germany is only young, but looks a real prospect for the future.

Salah, Mane and Jota, supported by Firmino sometimes run a bit hot or cold, but when hot they can be goal machines.

Midfield seems to be a weaker area for them. Milner is getting on and having less game time. Henderson is a decent, but average sort. Fabinho is one of the best around for that position. Thiago looked a good signing, but doesn't seem to play much and Keita shows real brilliance at times.

They have the patience to wait for the right player, as in van Dijk and will spend if required, with Alisson for instance. It seems to me that they operate as a team, as a 'collective', and although a player may have outstanding abilities, he would have to tick all the boxes, both on the pitch and off it before an effort was made to sign.

Very different to the boys in red across the road and you can see how they have fared with that approach. Pretty Boy may still retain a lot of ability, but he doesn't fit the team........mind you, he does help sell shirts, although as far as I am aware, I don't believe shirt sales equal trophies.

I see Elliott is being hyped up massively by the media ( no surprise there), but when I have seen him he has not overly impressed.

Chamberlain…come on mate he is awful. Diaz is a really good signing for them and further strengthens their squad which was pretty weak in depth. If salah or mane get injured they now have two very good replacements in jota And Diaz.

Liveepool will be challenging for titles for years to come they are a very good side with a brilliant manager. To say otherwise would be down playing our success
