Now if they were selling Football club branded Cards for a large number of Clubs then it might have had legs, but if it's City only then you only need to look at the Ticket Prices thread to work out that it was never going to make money from City fans.

There are multiple websites which shows the existence of this prepaid Mastercard Credit Card, the company looks like it has failed to get any significant market share and withdrawn its products, to simplify, gone tits up.

You seem intent to prove its ‘dodgy’, what proof do you have? What indicates this company never existed apart from the known City hating creep that is Corbett who in his own tweet states,’What does it all mean? Possibly nothing at all.’

Hardly convincing, trying to make us guilty as we are ‘under investigation’ by the EPL and zero mention of what money has been paid by this failed company.

You have no idea what the terms of the sponsorship are so how can you decide that?

As the business model seems to have been based on customers pre-loading their money on the cards then it could be more likely to be a % of revenue rather than a fixed sponsorship sum.

Say for example City were due 0.05% of all the pre-paid monies. If the scheme had taken off properly then they might have made £millions over a few years; on the other hand if it was only Bert and Bob from Stockport who signed up for the card then they might have made a few pence at best.

Might be embarrassing but doesn't mean it has to be dodgy.

Spot on. The part about the card was posted by others early on, unfortunately Sam seems to have decided to entrench on his original stance and ignore the facts as far as anyone on here can ascertain. Why he's sided with a tosspot like corben while ignoring actual facts is just dumb.
