The FIDO Alliance is a global standards and regulatory commission created by PayPal, Lenovo, Google and others to work on passwordless authentication systems.

It is currently ran as a collaborative effort between Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Intel and some others. As per:

If you've ever used NFC to pay for anything then that was using the FIDO standards invented by the FIDO Alliance Working Groups. FIDO2 is used in all new editions of Microsoft Windows Server for passwordless authentication for example.

Working Groups are technology and policy groups ran by the Alliance. They consist of regional bodies that look at the technical, legal and culture challenges of the adoption of the tech in those regions. The Partners (the multinationals above) generally run them and then they are invite only for Associate members. Truxtun was jointly invited by a Board Member of the Thales Group, a French aerospace company with 18 billion in revenue and a Board Member of OneSpan, an American cybersecurity firm with $300m in revenue in order to represent the Alliance and consider the impact of PSD2, eIDAS, and GDPR regulatory changes on FIDO standards.

For a company he claims does not exist to any real degree, that's a fairly good achievement. You don't sit on global standards committees working groups if you're a one man start up running out of a postbox.

The fact is, Corbett either knew this and didn't mention it because it put a hole in his wrong assertions which makes him corrupt or he didn't know this and he has failed to research something incredibly simple which means he's incompetent.

He also claimed Wega didn't exist to any degree and that nobody in Qatar had heard of them. Wega cobranded and entire eSports tournament with Qatar two years ago and there's a ton of social media (and literal gameplay footage on Twitch) of it all over social media.

He is a man with an agenda who wrote exactly what he wanted to write and didn't bother checking to see if it made any sense or could be debunked by a thirty second Google search.

You see the response from his tweet from other fans? That’s the only reaction he wants keep the negative narrative going about our sponsors and there belief we cheat! The mans a paid clown the dredge of the barrel! Bet he gets a great welcome at the scousers and the scums ground when he goes there.

Here is a patent that I found that is owned by Truxtun Capital.

Owner name: TRUXTUN CAPITAL SA, CH

Truxtun is the successor company to DigiPay which went into admin 2 years prior and was the previous owner of both this patent and they also had a product called the Wega card. Their paper trail goes back to 2004.

Having the Shiekh's men setup a company in Luxembourg four years before taking us over, to then fuel money into us and cheat FFP 14 years after that seems like a remarkable piece of foresight.

Here is a video interview with the Chairman of Wega. I've researched a ton more and basically found that he has been trying to get this product off the ground now for about 15 years or so. He's a tech entrepreneur in an extremely niche part of the industry and previous had business successes.

We know he’s corrupt but in this instance I’m going for incompetent, he did a couple of checks & having very little intellect immediately publishes his findings.

Lucky they didn't email the story to Der Spiegel to release the news.
It’s still really really bad luck, that after all the millions of copied emails from multiple clubs, that Der Speigel only managed to find the time and space to print 6 belonging to but a single club. And they clearly were suffering from time pressure as they managed to mangle 2 of those 6 together…

No agenda whatsoever & telling that your point has never been raised by anyone important (if you know what I mean).

My mates are going all in on a whatsaap group after one posted this Nick Harris Twitter thread.

I have covid and really can't be arsed dealing with it. Anyone got something handy for me to refute?

Does anyone know who sponsored us in the 14-15 season? Since Mr Harris doesn't seem to include it in his detailed musings.

I'd love to know who's paying him to continue with this character assassination of our club. I'm sure we all know who's behind it but if links could be proven between him and the cartel the general public might be able to see the bullshit the club and supporters have had to put up with over recent years.

My suspicion is that the sponsorship was spread over multiple seasons but payments were irregular, with us calling them off as we needed them.

CAS only detailed payments in those 4 seasons so its possible we got nothing in that 2014/15 season, or a minimal amount. So effectively it's £220m over 5 seasons, which is £44m a season, for the shirt and stadium (the academy wasn't yet in place then). Hardly excessive for a PL winner and regular CL participant.

I’m surprised you haven’t chatted to Nick about this over a pint :-)
