Look at the post with vid from twitter above yours, unless that clip been manipulated in some way you can clearly see it bounce off the back of his neck.
I have spent a few minutes trying to bounce projected Spittal off various surfaces. Mine keeps sticking and dribbling.
I suppose a professional footballer has a more proactive projectile . -:)

Just had the Mrs put on her rag shirt and after half dozen attempts at the right angel gob will bounce of a rag shirt

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but am I the only person who thinks Sancho's goal should actually have been given as an o.g? Looked to be missing the far post until the defender intervened.

I said that in the thread during the game. Sancho doesn't connect properly and it's going straight at the keeper until it deflects off the defender. Not a single mention anywhere in the media.

Does 5th not get CL football if an English club wins the CL?
No. England get a fifth CL place if a team outside the top four win the CL or if an English team wins the Thursday League.
The rule was changed to benefit the dippers after they won the CL and finished outside the top four. UEFA intended the CL to be such a closed shop it was inconceivable a team outside the domestic top four (in England's case) could win it.

I wonder if they get 5th and City are in the champions league final against foreign opposition. Will UEFA be biased towards us to drag them into next season CL?
If they finish fifth, and we win the Champions League, they will NOT be in next season's CL.

You are so naive mate.
The goal was awarded (incorrectly imo) to Sancho because the powers that be don't want the world to see that the rags have signed another lame duck.
Operation 'show Sancho in a positive light' is in full swing...

I think i am right in saying BBc sport online is the product of media City Salford and as such as shown very little in the way of being non partisan where local rivalry is concerned...but i fear they have turned.
