Think that is our current best 11, though arguments could be made for Sterling and Gundogan I suppose, but I don't think anyone can reasonably accuse anyone of not taking it seriously. If we can get legs and support around Rodri, and Rodri steps up, we should win the game. I expect another big night from Grealish as well. I think he will play a big part in the season from here. Up the blues.

I don't understand the need for 2 keepers on the bench. Anyway, I'm hoping we win tonight. Come on City!

I think because you can just as easily say “I don’t understand the need for 8 outfield players on the bench.” There’s not much need for that either.

So 2 keepers on the bench just protects for some extraordinary circumstances where there’s a red card for Ederson and then Steffen tweaks a muscle on a goal kick or something random like that, as it’s the most specialised position on the pitch.

Great team that and Palace have lined up with pace on the counter. Should be a good game. Key will be to score first. We manage that then we can beat them by a few. They score first and it could be trouble.

Going to be a tough one tonight, but confident. It is always harder to counter us without the ball and Sterling is usually the one who loses possession so understandable he is out of the 11.

Palace are a big physical well organised side with pace, the kind we struggle against. Hopefully being at home they'll open up more and allow us to pick them off for a change. Don't get caught like Laporte did at home and sent off.
